"The soup is wonderful, I had that last time I came in here." He grinned and then looked down to the menu as his finger landed on it. "I believe I'm getting the Grilled Chicken sandwich. I haven't had that one yet."
The waiter appeared to take their order and after he disappeared again, Fabian looked back to Riley. "I trust that everything has been well with you since the last time I saw you?"

"It has," Riley said after she gave the waitress her own order. "I've just been working... but I imagine you could have guessed that on your own." She smiled. She didn't mind joking about her own workaholic tendencies with him. Afterall, she wasn't working now, and that was thanks to him.
"And you? I should hope so since you're in such a good mood today."

"I wouldn't know what to think if you ever said anything different than that," Fabian said teasing her.
"Things have been good. More work than usual, but I've been getting through it. Plus, I'm usually in a good mood practically all the time. Sometimes I have a few off days, but that is a rarity. Then of course, there are the times when it is field work, but that's different." He shrugged. Fabian was always the one in the good mood, unless something happened or if it was just 'one of those days'.

Riley nodded. "I think we've all been getting more work than usually. If I was anything other than an Auror, I would be happy about it... but it just makes me worry, as an Auror." Too many bad things were happening, and since the attack on Hogsmead, everyone had been on high alert.
"But enough about that... back to good moods, hm?"

He didn't ever think about being anything but an auror. Fabian could be careless, but not when it came to work.
"Glad to see that you like to switch topics," he said still smiling. "But yes, good moods. Its good to see you in a good mood. Your eyes shine brighter." Fabian gave his head a slight shake. If Gideon were here, he would have been teased mercilessly for saying that. "Anyway, have you done anything daring as of late?"

Riley smiled at that and even almost blushed. He had a way of making her do that in a way that no one else really could.
"Well, then, I'm glad you came along to put me in a good mood. I haven't been doing much other than work... I've been thinking about redecorating my apartment, but I don't know how exciting that is."
