In light of the tragic attack at Hogsmeade, the traditional Yule Ball will now be held on New Year's instead of Christmas. This is to allow all students to spend recuperation time at home with their families.

Timeline-wise, that means that Christmas-related threads are taking place before the Yule Ball and not afterwards. I will be starting the Yule Ball thread some time this week. (Better get your dates lined up!)
