First Meeting

[Korbel]

Korbel hated the fact that he and Gretchen were going to go after the hunter and Rochelle. He didn't really mind going after the hunter, but Rochelle on the other hand. She was like his sister, and he didn't want any harm to come to her, which was why he had sent her the note warning her. He just hoped that Gretchen wouldn't find out about it. Korbel just needed a little time to think, which was something he normally didn't do, before they went after them. He sat down on a large tree root thinking of the possiblities of what could happen with going after them.

[Kris Lupin]

Ashura was going back to her cave after meeting with her brother, she wasn't really paying any attention to where she was going. Though she knew the woods, so she really didn't need to look where she was going. This time on the other hand she kept tripping and stumbling on roots. She was thinking about everything Sully had said.

[Korbel]

Korbel was brought out of his thoughts when he saw someone walking through the forest. He watched the girl carefully as she continued to walk, but she was tripping and stumbling over the tree roots. Korbel stood up from the tree root he was sitting on and walked towards the girl. "Hey, are you okay," he asked.

[Kris Lupin]

"Yeah, though I've had better days." Ashura said. "I've never had trouble walking and thinking through here before...." She sighed then leaned against a tree holding her locket. "I suppose bad news affects things like that." She looked at him, she thought he was cute.

[Korbel]

"Yeah, I suppose bad news could do that to you," said Korbel. He glanced over her once and noticed that she had somewhat of a confused smell about her. "Can't say that I've seen you've seen you around. What's your name?"

[Kris Lupin]

"Ashura. I usually just stay in my cave but my brother needed to talk to me, never knew I had family until just recently." Ashura said. She looked at the ground unsure if she could trust him enough to talk about Sully.

[Korbel]

"Ashura? That's a pretty name," said Korbel. "Just staying in caves is not a good thing, even for wolves. We have to be out and on the move, not just in one place all the time. I can't say that I have any family, except for the pack."

[Kris Lupin]

"Thank you." Ashura said blushing a bit "I normally move to different caves, but seeing as I haven't had any trouble I've just stayed in the recent one."

[Korbel]

"Ah, I see," said Korbel. "The pack I'm tends to move around. I mean, we're staying here, but just not in the same place. We don't want to raise the risk of some hunter finding us."

[Kris Lupin]

"Well, I just recently joined a pack but I don't have to stay with them, they said they'd get ahold of me some how when they need me. At my first meeting with them I met two very young pups, I mean I suppose humans call them kids, I just don't see how anyone could attack a small person." Ashura tightened her hold on her locket.

[Korbel]

"Well, most wolves consider attacking young ones, because it gives them more time to mold their minds to how they want, and they could be a more faithful follower," said Korbel. "I, myself, haven't attacked any smaller children. I leave that up to the leaders."

[Kris Lupin]

"I wouldn't want to. I think it's horrible attacking anyone, that's why I mainly stay in here, well in my cave, other then when I need new clothes." Ashura said. She looked up at him. "You never told me your name."

[Korbel]

Korbel swallowed. He had attacked a few people before, but of course he was one that didn't really attempt to control himself, but he was starting to get better at it. "Oh sorry bout that, I'm Korbel."

[Kris Lupin]

"That's a nice name." Ashura bit her lower lip not really sure what to say.

[Korbel]

Korbel gave her a small smile. "Thanks. You're not really much of a talker are you? If not thats okay, I'm not much of one either."

[Kris Lupin]

"I haven't really had anyone to talk to. I've been alone ever since I was attacked." Ashura said.

[Korbel]

"Oh," said Korbel. "I take it that it's been awhile since you were attacked then? When where you attacked, if you don't mind me asking about it."

[Kris Lupin]

"I was sixteen. I barely remember the attack." Ashura said quietly looking at the ground.

[Korbel]

"That's nothing to be ashamed about," said Korbel noticing her glancing down. "It's best if you don't remember the attack at all. It's pretty nasty really. I don't even remember when I was bit. I stopped counting after a few years, so I couldn't really tell you how long ago it's been."

[Kris Lupin]

"I'm not ashamed of not remembering it... it's just I want to be able to remember my brother... I don't even know him, I want to know him but he's having to leave." Ashura blinked back tears.
