As she got Ashura down on her back, Quinn let out a howl of victory, then began to scratch at her underbelly, drawing just a little bit of blood. She was almost annoyed that the girl had gone down so easily. She wanted to make sure that she learned her lesson...

Korbel transformed somewhere not too far Ashura's cave. He wanted to just check up on her, and then he would more than likely go back and try to find Quinn. Things just seemed so confusing now. After transforming, he slowly walked towards the cave, until he heard a howl. The scents smelled familiar and he started running towards the cave. When he got there, he saw Ashura on her back and Quinn scratching her. He stopped at the entrance and let out a loud howl trying to get both of their attentions.

Quinn recognized Korbel's howl and stopped what she was doing. She turned to look up at him, leaving herself momentarily defenseless against attack.

Ashura pushed her off then moved away from her, she couldn't move too fast as her body throbbed as she moved.

Korbel looked at both of them and took a couple steps into the cave. He gave a short angry bark at both of them. Korbel walked passed Quinn and headed towards Ashura. He licked the side of her muzzle and then looked back at her. Things seemed not too bad, and he knew that she would be alright. He walked back over to Quinn and rubbed the side of his muzzle against hers and then turned to look at them again. At that moment, he wished that he could talk. He gave another short bark to let them know that he was disappointed in both of them.

Quinn let out a soft whine. She knew that Korbel was angry with her. She hadn't intended for him to catch her fighting with Ashura, but she had known he wouldn't approve. She bent down her front paws in a sign of submission to him.

Ashura fell on the cave floor not able to stand the pain anymore. She wished she could tell him that Quinn had started it but she had no way of even hinting it. She felt a jealous surge when Korbel went to Quinn, a part of her wanted to leave but another part wouldn't let her. She looked away from them not wanting to see what else he was going to do.

Korbel gave a slight nod to Quinn and then turned back to Ashura. He knew that Quinn probably started the fight, but he couldn't really do anything about it. He looked towards Ashura as she was laid down. Korbel wasn't sure what he should do. He looked back to Quinn and gave a howl, letting her know that they were going to stay the night there. He wanted to make sure that Ashura was going to be alright during the night.

Ashura closed her eyes not moving from her spot. She could tell he wasn't going to stay with her if this hadn't happened, though he did tell her he was going to before Quinn showed up. As she thought that he might leave her for Quinn she let out a whine. She didn't want to think that he thought she was better then her. She didn't want Quinn there, she wished Quinn hadn't showed up so she wouldn't have to worry about loosing him.

Quinn saw that Korbel wanted to stay with Ashura for the night, and she let out an angry bark. She didn't want to stay, didn't want to face the girl in the morning. She felt like he was choosing Ashura, and she had no one to blame but herself, because she'd decided to fight the girl. With a loud howl, she turned and ran off into the woods, leaving them alone.

Korbel let out another loud howl right after Quinn's. He wished that she didn't leave, he didn't want her to, and he wanted to go with her, but with Ashura just laying there, he couldn't. Korbel let out a whine and laid down away from Ashura. When dawn broke, he would wake Ashura up, make sure that she was going to make it, then head off again to find Quinn as soon as he could.

Ashura opened her eyes then looked at Korbel almost saddly. She whined quietly then looked away from him. If he was still there in the morning then she would tell him not to bother with her. He obviously wanted to be with Quinn more then her so why fight it and why bother with it.

Korbel slowly woke up the next morning, and saw Ashura's sleeping form. He walked over to her quietly and gently shook her wake. "Ashura," he said, "wake up."

Ashura groaned as she was shook but she opened her eyes nonetheless. She winced as she sat up. "You don't want to stay... so why not just go after her? It's obvious you like her more." She wiped away the tears as they fell, she could tell when she's not wanted. "By the way, she attacked me I didn't want to fight but she kept on... not that you care." She had muttered the last words.

"Hey now, you don't have to be like that," said Korbel. "What's gotten into you? I sort of figured that Quinn may have started it, but tell me why. She doesn't really start anything unless she's ticked off. What made her start fighting you?"

"The other night I was at my parents grave and she showed up and when I was about to leave she talked bad about my brother so I slapped her." Ashura said.

"She grabbed my hair then said some things and left. I don't think she likes me because you are going through all that trouble to keep me from being found out by your pack leader." Ashura kept her eyes on the ground.

Korbel ran a hand through his hair and let out another audible sigh. "If you don't mind, tell me what she said. I'm sorry for what she did to you. Quinn just loses it, but I know that's not a good excuse. She knows that I don't want Gretchen to get to you, because Gretchen can be twice as bad as Quinn."
