"It's alright," she said with a small smile. "I've been a few times. It's local and they have good music. And if I'm taking in a nice looking guy, then what more could one want out of a nightclub, right?" Usually the answer to that was alcohol but she worked at a bar, where she could drink for free beforehand. No use in wasting galleons, not the way Lexi lived. Maybe the way the Scotts lived though.

"Works for me," he said with a grin. "So exactly when does your shift end? Should I order another drink before we go?"
It was true that places like this were not his usual speed. With his money and prestige, he could get in just about anywhere. He usually did prefer more upper class type places than this. But he also didn't like being stuck in a rut, and he felt that this was what had happened. He needed to walk on the wild side just a little more. To have a little fun. And Lexi seemed to be just the perfect solution.

Looking at the clock on the wall, she reached for another bottle of firewhiskey. "I've about ten minutes before Mitch comes in to replace me. You want another whiskey?" Mitch was always on time, and sometimes he showed up early. Lexi hoped that was the case tonight, she didn't want to keep taking care of all the other customers with Justin here. He was rather distracting.
She reached below the counter and found a clean shotglass which she filled for herself. "Cheers," she said before downing her drink. She was off soon and one drink wouldn't hurt while she was working.

Justin's eyebrow went up at her as she took a drink. He supposed that, in a place like this, such behavior wasn't exactly unexpected. But he rather liked that she wasn't a perfect good-girl type. The trouble with being a Scotts and going to all the high class places that his family was expected to go to was that he always met the same kinds of girls. Vapid, empty and shallow creatures with no minds to think for themselves. But Lexi wasn't like that... She was interesting and fun.
"Yeah, as a matter of fact, I think I will have another," he replied. "One for the road, so to speak."
