From Proboards support, the code originator has posted these words:
Now, I only half understand that... but what I understand is that, basically, it doesn't work properly anymore. So... make sure you have all your passwords saved somewhere. We're going to have to do things the old fashioned way... Log in one character at a time. *sigh*
I am not going to remove the code just yet... I want to wait until I get home.

OK, more information:
We can still use it, but it will now require the account passwords to be entered. It's a little annoying... but it's still a step above logging out and in again as each character.

Hmm. Everyone needs to tell me how it's working for them. Mine is not working properly at all from home. Check any and all browsers that you use.

It's working for me... except to Rori's account... I have to re-enter the password for that one... but the others seem to work alright. (I'm using Opera)

Um... basically... the old code doesn't work anymore. We have a new one, but it doesn't work as well as the old one did.

I know. It works OK with some browsers, just a little clunky. I cannot use Safari at all. It just will not work. I had to switch to Opera, which seems to work best. (I don't have Internet Explorer at home.)

It's working ok right now... But hopefully it doesn't mess up too much later.

The System is still working for me normally, however if I use the button that appears where the "post As" is, it locks up and I have to sign out and then back in. I haven't deleted my cookies, so I'll have to painstakingly go through them and delete any that aren't UTNG.

It's weird. It seems to work differently on different computers or browsers.
Here at work on IE, it changes fine, but asks for the account password, and after you post, and you want to go back to the account you were on previously, it says there's no login credentials for that account and you have to say on the new one. But on Firefox, it works normally.
On Safari, it takes the aliases, but it simply will not give me the option to change accounts AT ALL. It's essentially useless. But all my other browsers at home--Firefox, Flock, and Opera--all work perfectly. I had to switch to using Opera, because Flock is where I keep Alice's aliases, and Firefox seems to have a limit of Aliases it will allow.
Oy.

it's so annoying, I created a new temp folder in the cookies, it has the cookies for this site so I can still easily delete the others. I'm still doing that...I think i'll stop for now and then later finish doing that. I'm glad I don't have so many to deal with.

There is supposed to be a new one coming out that will work better, but it's not ready yet. So for the time being, we have to suffer with this one. it's still better than logging in and out.

IE lets me go back to all previous accounts except the ones I made after the alias code changed.
