Oh So Bored (open to bored peoples only)

Evelyn had brought down a set of exploding snaps and a box of fruity sweets to the Great Hall. Saturdays were hit and miss with entertainment and today it seemed it was a miss. People were off studying and doing other dull things that couldn't possibly hold her interest today. There had to be someone hanging out in the Great Hall to play with.

[Angelo De Luca]

After waking up late, as he prefferred doing on his Saturday mornings, Angelo had walked down to the Great Hall. He really waasn't looking for anyone particular, but he thought he might as well do something. Angelo's homework had been finished, and there weren't any responsibilities he had to uphold.

Instead, he spotted a fifth year by the name of Evelyn Turner. She was stadning, looking bored. Angelo smiled at her and waved, before coming up and saying, "hey, Ev'lyn. How are you?"

[Evelyn Turner]

Evelyn looked around when her name was called and spotted Angelo waving at her. She smiled and sat with him. "Wotcher Ang. I'm good. Glad that you're here. I thought I would be forced into studying by boredom. You're not busy are you?"

[Julia Strobel]

Julia never woke up earlier than noon on a weekend, by now, this was common knowledge of the sixth year. So around one in the afternoon, Ju found herself wandering down from the commonroom to the great hall in need of some entertainment form her peers. To her luck, she found Angelo, a boy in the year ahead of her, and Evelyn, a girl in the year behind her.

"What's up guys?" Ju asked, walking over to join them.

[Angelo De Luca]

"I am never too busy to play a game of exploding snaps," Angelo leaned back. "Unless of course, you were expecting someone?" Angelo was never one to want to intrude. He made sure he was welcome before making any steps of a conversation that would last a while. Instead, he always asked, out of politeness. "Or were you just waiting for me to show up and save the day?" He joked.

Julia, the girl in the year below him, showed up. Angelo liked Julia, she was nice enough. "Hey, Ju. Whatitdo?"

[Evelyn Turner]

"Nope. Not waiting for anyone. You'rte my Knight in Shining armor," she teased. She set down the exploding snaps and her box of candies just as Julia came up to them. Excellent. The more the merrier when you're bored, right? "Hey Jules. Have a nice sleep?" Everyone knew Julia didn't get up before most everyone else had already filled up their Saturday.

"Why, at your service, ma'am." He bowed, sitting down and scooting over for Julia to sit down. He chuckled slightly at Evelyn's comment. Julia was the biggest sleeper in all of Gryffindor, it wasn't hard to say that she was up at a normal time.

[Julia Strobel]

Julia laughed and tookl a seat next to Angelo. "I'm good," she said, watching as the pair set up the game of exploding snapp. "Did you guys just start or have been layiing a while?" ju asked

[Evelyn Turner]

"We haven't even started yet. I only got here a split second before you, though, I have been up for a few hours now." She laughed and added, "joking. Do you want a candy? I got them on the last Hogsmeade trip and then forgot about them." She passed Angelo and Julia the box of sweets, keeping the lid in front of herself.

[Julia Strobel]

"Yeah, thanks," Julia said. "That reminds me, I need to get some more sweets next trip," she added, more as an after thought to herself.

[Evelyn Turner]

"I try to get some every time I go. You never know when you might need candy." She grinned at Julia then shoved the box in front of Angelo. "So, would you like to play, Jules?" This particular set of exploding snaps was a new one, she misplaced half the card of her old set and buying new ones was easier than looking through the mess that was her trunk for the old ones.

Angelo smiled, and took one, throwing the whole thing in his mouth and swallowing swiftly. He had always had a major sweet tooth, and thought himself to be addicted to a candy. But he didn't want to be rude, and decided to be happy with just one.

"Smart woman," Angelo stated, gesturing to Evelyn about her candy comment. "You never know when you need snacks in the middle of the night. And do join us, Jules. It would be much appreciated."

[Julia Strobel]

"Sure, why not? Julia shrugged, taking a seat next to Angelo. "So what have you both been up to lately?" Julia asked curiously.

[Evelyn Turner]

Evelyn set up the cards for their game as they talked. "Homework. Loads and loads of homework. Although," she added with a proud grin, "I did have enough time to chat with Rabastan Lestrange. He's asked me to the Yule Ball." Evelyn had fancied Rabastan for years now, and was overjoyed when he first showed interest in her. And then when he asked her to the ball...she was over the moon. But when Evelyn had gone to tell her best friend Rayne about her date for the dance, Rayne had gotten mad at her. They had barely spoken since, but Evelyn was sure it would pass. Rayne was just being silly. And in the meantime, it was nice to have people who, hopefully, wouldn't judge her for fancying Rabastan.

"Rabastan, huh?" Angelo gave a big smile to Eve. "That's quite a catch, good job!" He was genuinely happy, and hadn't thought of the slight reprocusions that might entail a Slytherin. Angelo hardly saw the bad in anyone. "Well, Ev'lyn. I'm quite proud. Have you got any of the details together?" he asked.
