(So...I realize I used about as much as I could on Arithmancy lessons as far as lessons go lol so lessons may just be talking and then a pretend lesson and then more talking lol)
Caleb straightened his desk and put his things to right before any of his students dropped in on him. He glanced at the door again smiled thinking of the unruly bunch that he still almost felt a part of and then back down at the paperwork. Lessons were coming around he enjoyed teaching and he hoped his students enjoyed what they were learning even though Arithmancy was a bit advanced. Mathematical if you would.
As prepared as he was going to get he finished setting his things straight and waited for the pitter patter of feet.

Apollo wasn't surprised to find that he was the first to class, though he always sort of hated it. It was just awkward, when you were as quiet as he could be. Merlin only knew why he had been so chatty with Sophia. Must have been in a good mood.
He just nodded to the professor and sat down quietly.

Caleb nodded back but he didn't let it go there. He knew Apollo. Vaguely anyway the boy had been a second or third year when Caleb went to school and now that Apollo was older Caleb recognized a bit of himself in him, truly he recognized a bit of himself in every Ravenclaw.
"Excellent paper from last class." he said coming to the boy's desk to return the graded work.

Apollo looked up, pausing before he said anything. He too recognized Caleb, but they had never really been friends or anything, so he didn't feel terribly rude for not being chatty.
"Thanks," he said, reaching out and taking the paper back from the professor. Indeed, he had gotten a very good mark on it. He smiled politely and put the paper away.

Sin entered the room casually, he was on time for once, hell he was early. With a casual smirk and a casual confidence he eased into a seat and pulled out a notepad twirling a pen in his hand. He knew things he turned in were to be done with a quill and parchment, but he had to admit the pen was a marvelous invention and he liked simple things. He was still thinking up ideas for Gwen, and other ways of handling Alyx and he thought better when he wrote things down.

Nolan was fine being third to class. It was close to the winter holidays, and everyone sort of seemed burned out on classes. The break would do them all some good, he thought, taking a seat near Sin. He leaned back, watching the professor speaking with the Ravenclaw boy, and just relaxed until class started.

Sin nodded towards Nolan though the guy was a year older they were close enough in age to hang out once in a while. Then he took another glance around the class.
The professor was praising a ravenclaw, again not surprising. Sin probably could have gotten better marks, not that he got bad ones, if he had just put more effort into writing it, but he often had other things to think about.

Scarlette came into class without any ado. She wasn't much for causing a scene or making an entrance... not for the sake of it, anyway. She had been known to cause a few fights and some drama in her time, but there had been motive behind it.
She sat near the Gryffindor boys, smiling at both of them as she glanced at the teacher, who was speaking with the Ravenclaw.

Samantha was having a good day and came to class bright and bright looking. Her chin was up and her skin glowed with health, she had a wide smile for her brother, and perhaps a mischievous one as well as if she were saying that she had a secret.
She glanced around the class noting that there were no Slytherins there, but she had never been picky about that and went over to where Sin, Nolan, and Scarlette were at, "May I?" she asked the girl rather than the boys if she could sit down near them.

Caleb glanced up as his sister entered the room looking...radiant? It was a glow that was slowly coming to her features more and more every day taking his breath away. He wanted Samantha to be happy, and this was the happiest he thought he had ever seen her. He wondered what put her in such a good mood but would wait til the end of the class to ask her. He was fairly certain people knew they were related, though he had heard whispers of cousins and relatives and such, but for Sam's sake he didn't confirm or deny anything. He still thought it rather silly that she wanted to hide their relationship, but he could also understand her reasoning.
His eye was still partially on the door however wondering when Adele would get there. He swallowed and returned to his desk, he shouldn't care when the girl got there, but he wasn't fool enough not to admit to himself at least that he wanted to see her.

Scarlette glanced up at Sam and nodde. "Sure, please do," she replied, half mocking the tone of formality that used, but she wasn't making fun of her. It was just a natural response. She sat up and pulled her bag off of the seat next to her so that Sam had a place to sit down.
She glanced at the boys, but didn't give them a chance to say yes or no.

Sam smiled easily and set her own bags down sitting in the seat Scarlette cleared for her, then she proceeded to get her notes out, if she was making a huge house faux-paus she wasn't really aware of it, neither did she care particularly about not being seated in a designated area for Slytherins. Perhaps she should have cared, perhaps if her mother was still alive she wouldn't have dared to do something so scandalous as it was the woman was dead, so Sam could live in anyway she wanted to.
With that smile still on her face she began getting her things in order to begin class.

Adele slipped quietly into class, not late, but she wasn't terribly early either. She sat in the row behind Apollo, while Caleb's attention seemed to be focused on Samantha, and steadily pulled out her book and her notes, keeping to herself.

Her entrance was not unnoticed although he didn't appear to have noticed her. He could almost feel it when she entered a room and he didn't care to examine what that meant at the time being. Instead he focused on his lesson plan and then glanced up at the clock, he was going to begin and anyone who arrived later would be late to class.

Just as her cousin was opening his mouth to start the class Christine walked through the door, she glanced up at the clock then raised a singular eyebrow at her cousin, " You're starting five minutes early." she huffed with a hand on her hip.
She had seen Samantha in a previous class but so far not Caleb. While she hadn't seen Samantha in ages, she had seen Caleb just before she left for travels unknown with her Uncle, she also wrote to Caleb constantly.
She, unlike Sam, didn't care that the whole school knew they were related, although she doubted that anyone in the class knew she was his cousin and were no doubt expecting Caleb to do something about her "mouthing off" to a teacher.

Caleb spun at the unexpected but very familiar voice and his mouth fell a little when he saw his cousin standing there with school robes on. Samantha's appearance was unexpected yes, but not wholly like Christine's. Christine was supposed to be half way across the continent not...here.
His momentary stunned expression did not go unnoticed by a few of the students in the class, and if he was correct he spied a small smile on his sister's face, so Samantha had known and hadn't said anything. Brat.
Finally his shock melted into a smile, " I see that you're... joining us." he said still a bit of laughter in his tone as he gestured to a seat. There was a certain look in his eye that promised they would talk later.

Adele turned to look at the girl when she noticed the look on Caleb's face and felt that small creep of jealousy again that she didn't understand. How many girls, relatives or not, did this professor have hiding in the woodwork?
She turned back to her work, keeping her eyes down.

Samantha's amused look only grew as Christine chose a seat near her. Sam shook her head, "You didn't tell him you were here?" she asked. When Christine repeated the question back to her she laughed and shook her head, " I like keeping him on his toes as much as you do I guess." she shrugged and opened her book sliding over to put it between them until Christine could get her own.

It was thanks to Christine's interruption that Liam wasn't actually late, though he wouldn't have been anyway, since the professor was starting five minutes early.
Usually he was much earlier to classes, but he had gotten lost on one of the staircases.
He slipped in quietly, like he did everything, and took a seat in the back not to attract attention. He was unaware of the commotion over Christine.

Christine merely shrugged at her cousin. She didn't think she was that much of a stir, but who knew at schools like this, at schools period. She didn't know what was proper ettiquette, not that she would have cared much anyway. Seated next to her cousin she glanced around at anything other than the book in front of her and wondered still what sort of scrape she could get in and out of.
