Jesse traveled to Diagon Alley in search of nothing special. He had to find a way to pass the time away. A job would have been better, but he hadn't found one yet that he thought was interesting. Jesse didn't just like any old job, it had to be something that kept him going. Odd jobs had been alright, but that was getting old.
Straightening out his robes, Jesse walked into the Leaky Cauldron to have his usual drink, stotch. The Leaky Cauldron was the only place that had the good stuff, but then again he hadn't really checked anywhere in Hogsmeade for it.
He spoke to the bartender for a moment, then took his drink and found an empty table as he observed the people that walked in and out.

Anna always liked to go everywhere in a town where she was filming, though that generally meant all the clubs, and when she exhausted those, she started scoping out the bars. After that were museums... she was well rounded.
As she entered the Leaky Couldron, she couldn't decide right way if she liked it or not. The clientele was mixed.
She sashayed her hips as she walked up to the bar and just ordered a water to start, doing much the same thing the man next to her was... people watching.

Jesse's attention was diverted to the door as a woman walked in the door. She was beautiful to say the least, and the way her hips moved were mesmerizing. Of course, Jesse knew that basically all men would stare at a woman like that. Moving his eyes away from the woman, he looked around him again.
When she appeared beside him, Jesse gave her a smile then looked back toward the people.

"Really?" Anna asked, still eyeing the man. "That's all I get? A smile?"
She was used to so much more. Forget the couple of other guys that had followed her walk into the bar... she knew she had their attention so she didn't care about it. Now, because he had been so singularly uninterested, she wanted his attention. What could she say? People adored her, and she drank it up.
She sat up a little straighter and extended her hand. "How about we try for introductions? I'm Anna."

His attention was diverted from the people to the woman standing beside him. Jesse raised an eyebrow at her. "What? Do you want me to eye grope you like all the others?" He looked at her curiously. She seemed to be one of those that loved attention. Well, Jesse wasn't like the rest of the men, and he wasn't going to just stare her down.
Jesse looked down at her extended hand before extending out his own. He shook her hand. "Jesse. Nice to meet you."

Anna laughed. "Eye-grope, that's a new one."
He shook her hand at least, which meant he wasn't necessarily all surly, and she could work with that. "It's nice to meet you too, Jesse," she replied before turning in her seat and looking at the rest of the people with him.
"Anyone interesting?"

Jesse looked around again. No one really caught his eye. Maybe he should have opted to go to one of the clubs instead. He looked back to Anna and raised an eyebrow at her.
"Well, if I said 'how about the person beside me'? Would that earn me a slap," Jesse asked her.

Anna laughed. "Certainly not. I was rather hoping you would say that, actually."
She loved attention, and she didn't mind it if other people knew. And honestly, the number of people in this town that didn't recognize her was a little offputting. Oh well, if she looked at it the right way, she could always use it to her advantage.

"Alright then. I do believe that the person standing next to me is more interesting than anyone else in here." Jesse raised his glass a little bit before taking a sip from it. He gave her a smile. Anna did like the attention and well, Jesse would provide her with a bit of it. After all, she was the only one that he thought was decent in the place.
"What do you do Anna, if you don't mind my asking."

"What a wonderful answer," Anna replied, laughing slightly, and deciding that she liked his dry, humorless attitude. He was sarcastic and she had the vague feeling that she was being mocked by him, but she was getting a kick out of it.
"I'm an actress, as it turns out," She replied, taking the attention he would give her. "What do you do? Something profitable, if I had to guess."

"An actress," he repeated raising an eyebrow. "That's quite interesting. Can't say I watch movies though." Jesse had never been to a movie. He hadn't had an urge to go see one. "But congradulations on your job."
Jesse finished off his glass and ordered another one. "At the moment I'm not doing anything but odd jobs. I'm hoping to finally just pick one that will sooth my interests. I like making things actually."

"Ouch," Anna replied, her lips forming a pretty 'o.' His response was a serious brush off. It amused her. Some people though, were just too grumpy to deal with. If he wanted to be surly and angry, she would let him. But it didn't mean she couldn't have her fun while she was at it.
"What kind of odd jobs do you do?"

Jesse realized how what he said probably sounded. Usually he wouldn't have apologized, but she was kind enough to keep talking to him. "Didn't mean it to sound like an insult. I just don't go to movies. I've never had anyone to go with me and I find that going alone is just kind of dull, don't you think?" He didn't say 'I'm sorry' directly, but that was going to be as close to an apology that came from him.
"Well, I do a bit of everything really. I've helped build a few things if people need it and whatever else I can find. Hopefully I'll uncover a job that I really like doing."

"I think going to them at all is rather dull, actually," Anna replied, and she looked at him from the corner of her eye before she smiled.
She nodded as he explained what he did. "Oooh, I see... you're one of those restless types, are you? You find a job and get bored with it and move on? Where are you from, Jesse?"
Anna was sometimes too outgoing, and to a real introvert, she could be a bit much. But she found that a lot of people weren't really that introverted once you gave them some attention.
