Alone and Bored (Open... preferably to a boy)

Sin cast her a sideways grin, "I'm sure we could have worked *something* out." he said suggestively but his smile was easy going and there was no real threat in his voice, he did not anticipate being Dean's roadkill were he to actually have serious designs on Jackie.

Finally he turned and acknowledged Reese, " Gigantor's not here to keep her warm." he said still teasing Jackie.

Reese nodded. "Ah, yes, I rather thought something was missing from your side, Jackie. But I hardly see how that's a problem with Sin and I here."

He gave Sin a conspiratorial look, and then winked at Jackie as he swooped down on her and lifted her up, stealing her chair before pulling her back down and wrapping his arms around her.

Jackie laughed, but hit his arms. "You two are going to get me in so much trouble. I'll send Gigantor after both you, and then what?"

She sent Reese a teasing, silencing look before he could utter the words "I could take him," as she knew they were coming.

She didn't think Reese and Sin were that good of friends outside of their relationship with her, but she felt loved with them, knowing that if anyone ever did break her heart, they would be sorry for it. She had even dated Reese once, a couple of years back.

Whereas Sin almost preferred relationships to be more of a friendship basis than romantic, something about commitment didn't sit well with him, but that left teasing all the more fun. He laughed at her mentioning that she would send Gigantor after both of them. He shared Reese's conspiratorial grin, no they weren't all that close outside of their relationship with Jackie, but they got along well enough.

As he thought about it he could call nearly anyone in Gryffindor a friend, and hell a few out of Gryffindor were friends as well, but he didn't get too close to people, well other than Alyx, and that relationship he didn't know how it had come about or why it had grown as it had, he only knew he was feeling uncomfortable with it now.

But he was here to get his mind off of Alyx and his present companions were the way to do that.

"Send Gigantor after us? Why'd you go and do something so mean in the first place? Don't you care about us Jackie?"

"Oh stop it," Jackie told Sin, trying to get off of Reese's lap, but he was holding her tight. "You know I love you both far more than either of you deserve. Don't either of you have a girl you can torture other than me?"

She gave Reese the most pointed look here, but did not spare Sin. She knew Reese was friends... sort of... with the Hufflepuff girl. Despite his protests, she rather thought they would end up together one day. And Sin had a new girl she was hearing about.

Sin usually had several, well admirers that was. He was a good guy, but definitely not the commitment sort, so he might have earned a bad rep for dating too many girls, or being "friends" with too many girls. He was more comfortable there anyway, as friends he could flirt to his hearts content and pull back when a friend crossed a "deeper" level. He didn't want that to happen to Alyx, he cared about her, or rather she was like a fixture in his life, a little brother or sister who tailed after him and whom he looked after, anything else would be far too strange.

Then there was Gwen. His eyes might have rolled to the back of his head if he hadn't been with company. She was fire and...sadly ice. He couldn't get close to her, but he desired her like nothing else. He had a thirst to quench, a need to fulfill, and only she would do, but would he survive that kind of burn?

Then there was Bek who he was taking to the dance. She was great, cute, funny. He had no problems hanging out with her and having a good time. She'd make a great date he was sure of it, but there wasn't a threat of commitment or need in that relationship and that's what made him comfortable with it.

At Sin's silence, which was very telling, Reese sighed and finally released Jackie.

"Oh, Jakcie O, I could. In fact, there's a whole school full of girls worth torturing, but why would I do that when you're right here and ripe for it?"

He was still teasing her, and she rolled her eyes at him, moving to sit next to Sin on the sofa.

Sin's grin was positively sinful, no pun intended, when Jackie moved closer to him, he put his arm around her in turn and winked at Reese, "I guess she just prefers some to others." he said scooting closer still teasing.

Jackie laughed, refraining from rolling her eyes again lest she overuse the motion. "You're both absolutely impossible. Merlin only knows why I love you."

She didn't pull away from Sin, knowing it would be next to useless, but settled against him all the same.

"But I really do have a test I should study for. Which of you is better in Potions?"

Sin was good in school but only because of his memory, well and he could put things together rather quickly, but he wasn't too good at explaining things to other people. He relied on his photographic memory and things became rather easy for him, Class especially. He was always bugging Alyx or someone to go and do something when he was supposed to be "studying" or in a studying group and got antsy too quickly. He'd usually ace his tests however while whoever was unfortunate to be persuaded to join him didn't do so well, or at least struggled more than he did.

He gave Reese a look then shrugged, " I can help although I can't really say how much studying we'll get done, if you know what I mean." he said nudging her.
