"Maybe I could be a good luck charm," she said grinning. Alison couldn't help the words that were coming from her mouth. She did want to see him again, that was for sure, however she wasn't sure how she would act. The next time he probably would see her would be in her complete shy moments. Alison just hoped that she would break out of her shell whenever she would see him again.
"You'll have to let me know when that game is, because I'll probably be there for it." Alison would definately cheer for Geoffrey...she would just have to get rid of her shell first and act like this more often.

Geoffrey grinned. "Maybe you could be," he said. "Honestly, I could use all the good luck I can get. I'll be sure to tell you when the game is... I think we're going to try and do it next week some time, if we can find an empty field to play it in. I'll let you know."
He was smiling like a fool. It had really been a while since he'd met someone that he really wanted to see again, and that he would think of inviting him to one of his games. He had a very good feeling about Alison.
A faster song had come on, and they moved apart slightly to move to the music. He found himself wishing for another slow song.

Alison didn't realize that Geoffrey was smiling like a fool, because she was smiling just as much. "Great. I should be free next week as long as you let me know ahead of time." Did she just make a time to meet up with him again? Alison didn't really care... at least she would get to see him again.
As the faster song started and Geoffrey moved away a little, Alison wished that he hadn't moved. However she started to pick up her dancing again, while she took one of his hands and rose their arms in the air. "Spin around," she said with amusement.

Geoffrey let out a laugh. She wanted him to spin? "OK," he said and turned around, then came back to face her again. "Now... it's your turn." He made the same motion that she had done with him, causing her to spin around. At the end of the spin, he pulled her to him so that she was right up against him. Impulsively, he bent down and gave her a quick kiss on the lips.
Pulling away again, he looked down at her, hoping he hadn't gone too far.

Alison laughed as he spun around. She was happy that he didn't mind amusing her and to amuse him, she spun around. Naturally she wasn't expecting him to pull her to him, nor kiss her even if it was a quick one.
Her cheeks went from pink tinted to red quickly. A shy smile spread across her face as she looked up at him to let him know that it was alright. If anyone else would have done it, she probably would have slapped them, but with Geoffrey, she thought it was sweet. Alison moved just a little bit closer to him. Part of her wondered if she should lean up and kiss him. She still held onto his hand as she danced.
"You know, you're not that bad of a spinner," Alison teased with a wink. She meant both him actually spining and spining her. "Do you do that with all the girls you dance with?"

Edmund was at the club, as always. He was still stinging from his latest fight with Claire, and was in desperate need of a distraction. But the pickings were slim tonight. Or rather, there weren't many girls there that had managed to catch his eye.
That was when he saw her. Long blonde hair, petite, with a gorgeous smile. Unfortunately, she was dancing with someone else. Edmund edge closer, eying her dance partner. He seemed a likeable sort of guy... not bad-looking, Edmund supposed, and friendly. But non-threatening. Edmund didn't think this would be much of a challenge, but he continued to stand nearby, further assessing the situation.

Geoffrey shrugged. "Well, I can honestly say that is the first time I've been spun by someone. Occasionally, I'll spin a girl, but I really don't dance with very many girls. I'm sure you won't believe me, but I'm actually very shy." He laughed lightly, then noticed that there was a guy standing not far away from them, watching them. His smile quickly faded.
"Don't look now," he whispered, leaning closer to her, "But someone is watching us."

She smiled. "Well, I suppose that there is a first time for everything. And if your lucky, I might spin you again." Alison laughed. The idea of Geoffrey being shy was a comforting thought, and needless to say, she thought it was cute. He didn't come on too strong or anything like that, so she could believe that could have a shy side to him.
"To let you in on a little secret, I'm shy myself." Alison was telling the truth, however tonight she didn't show it that much. She didn't turn around, but she did lean closer to him to whisper back, "Well, let them watch." Right now, she was having far too much fun to really pay attention to see if anyone was watching.

Geoffrey grinned. "Oh, really? I hope so, because it was fun. Of course, I think I'd rather spin you." And with that, he spun her around again. "I'd really like to see you show off some of your ballet moves, actually. Can you stand on the tips of your toes?"
The guy was still staring at them, and he kind of gave Geoffrey the creeps. He was almost tempted to go after the guy and ask what his problem was, but he decided it was better just to let it go.

"Yes really. You're an excellent spinner." Alison gave him a wink and then laughed as he spun her around again. "You have wonderful form." The whole time she was with him, she was mostly smiling and she hoped that he would come find her at the Ministry so that they would have the 'accidental' run in.
"Yeah. I can stand on the tips of my toes, although if I fall forward, make sure to catch me." Alison smiled and the carefully started to rise up on her toes. Finally she was on the tip of her toes. "Still not as tall as you," she said with a hint of laugh. Whoever was staring was the least of her worries, she was too wrapped up in having fun.
