Like a hangover Diana was suffering from a massive headache over the stress she had caused on her system last night. Although there was a cathartic sense in that last night had been a purge of emotions she was still reeling from everything that had happened, everything that was supposed to happen, and to top it off she was in bed with a man whom she had sworn to kill the next time she saw him. How had he done this? How had he made her forgive him so quickly?
Her pride had taken a beating yes, but at the same time she believed he was sincere...she had to believe he was sincere or else all was for naught, or else the next time he left her she would shatter completely.
Now as she woke up with his arm across of her she turned to look in his face and tried to imagine waking up to that face every day...or at least knowing that he would be there tomorrow, and the next day...and hopefully the next, she was starting to smile with such thoughts.
Still smiling she waited for him to wake as well.

Christian woke up slowly as he began to realize the bed he was in wasn't his and there was someone laying next to him. Turning with a start his eyes began to focus and the lovely form of Diana Crawford was laying there next to him, smiling. "If it always feels this good to wake up next to you, then I made a huge mistake fifteen years ago." Smiling he curled up closer to Diana, his arms wrapped around her and pulled her closer as he leaned in and kissed her lightly.
"We need to find someone who can cast the spell to find our daughter..." His eyes locked onto her's a look of hopefulness flashed across them as he thought about how great it will be for them to finally be reunited with their daughter.

She nodded, "So...we're doing this...?" she asked hesitantly, "We're really.." she breathed in and out slowly after tucking her head under his chin and thought about a life with him. There better not be anymore windows in his future. As much as she loved him it was going to take a while to trust him, finding their daughter was going to be a good start.
"I'm hungry..." she said offhandedly.

Christian smiled incessantly at the beautiful figure who lay in the bed next to him. If this was what waking up in the morning next to Diana Crawford was normally like, then he could really get used to doing this. As she tucked her head under his chin, he began to slowly brush her long, beautiful hair while he listened to her speak. "Darling, did you think I was kidding? Our flesh and blood is out there and she belongs with us, not with whoever she is with now..." He pulled his head back, as he gently placed his hand under her chin, raising her face so he could meet her eyes.
Leaning in gently, his lips pressed against hers, as he pulled back just as slowly, he nibbled on her bottom lip as he rolled out of bed and threw his robes on. "What can I make for you to my my love?"

She agreed on all counts of course, when it came to finding their daughter, she was still a little bit hesitant in doing it with him, all of their reconciliation was happening too fast and it felt like a dream, she wasn't sure when she was going to have to wake up and she was dreading it more with each second in his presence.
She was afraid to reach out and take all the security and love he offered, it was something she wanted so much and yet her heart would never survive his leaving her again.
When he asked what she could make for him, she smiled, "Surprise me."

Christian laughed as Diana had asked him to surprise her, poor Diana didn't realize Christian was much better at killing then cooking. Hopping back onto the bed, he knelt inches from the lovely Diana. "Unfortunately for you love, I only know how to make one thing for breakfast." Smiling he leaned in and nibbled lightly on Diana's bottom lip, before pulling back with a wicked grin. Hopping back off the bed he proceeded into the kitchen. "Omelette's it is darling.." He called back as he exited the bedroom and headed into the kitchen.
Pulling the things he would need out of the cupboards and fridge he smiled at the thought of what she had turned him into, a trained killer cooking breakfast for his...girlfriend. "So tell me lover, who exactly am I going to have to beat into submission in order for us to get the spell we need cast?" He yelled from the kitchen hoping she would hear him, it was fun to pretend everything was good but they did have a daughter to track down after all.

Her hand snaked behind his head clasping him at the neck to taste his lips as he nibbled on her own but all too quickly he had moved away from her, and she foolishly had thought that he might have been the breakfast he claimed. She would not have been disappointed were it so. Still she smiled with faint amusement as he left her to go make her an omelette. She shook her head as he was gone and sat up in bed stretching slightly but for once a languid peace came over her. Christian was here now...and somehow he was going to take care of everything. She needed that, though she'd never admit it, she needed it badly. Having carried the torch for so long and having her arms screaming in agony from carrying the weight for so long..Christian was a welcomed blessing, even if she was terrified of what he could do to her.
Terrified was a good word when he mentioned killing or maiming at least her family. She didn't doubt for a second that he was capable of true damage, and it was an asset of course, but she did not want him to attack her family. Stepping out of her room with a silk robe draped over her she joined him, "No one." she told him, " But a few of them may decide to beat on you..." she remarked lightly. He had after all abandoned her fifteen years ago, and while she was forgiving her family probably wasn't going to be.

Christian looked up as Diana entered wearing a silk robe around her body, the silk did nothing to hide what was underneath and if anything just accented Diana's natural beauty. Leaving the food to cook for a bit, he approached Diana and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close to him. "If it means that we can be together with our daughter, then it'll be more than worth it." Kissing her lightly on the cheek, he unwillingly let go of the scantily clad witch as he returned to concentrating on making her breakfast.

Diana swallowed to get the thickness down in her throat, he sounded so confident, so assured that this was the life he wanted to take, the road he was willing to go and it startled her, she just didn't know what to make of him for the most part. She was worried that he would someday leave through a window and her life as he ahd so many years ago only now the pain would be unbearable, and there was a child to think of. She was worried that she wouldn't know how to handle it, and she was tempted, oh so tempted to sever ties, she was good at that, but there was something about his eyes, hell something about all of him that made her pause and kiss him when she should have been raving at him.
She met his lips eagerly, hungrily, and then smiled when he said it was something he would have to bear.
"I'm glad you're so confident."

Christian smiled at Diana, his mind filled with the thoughts of how much this woman had changed him and in so little time. True their first real encounter had been many years ago but they had been apart since that time but yet those same feelings, those same passions still seemed to burn inside him. Brought out only when she was near and after much thought, Christian had decided he didn't want to lose these feelings again.
"With you my love, I can handle anything." Smiling he let his hands slide down her soft silk robe and around her hips as his lips once again dove in to meet hers.

She raised an eyebrow at his statement but logic as it often did when he kissed her, disappeared. When they parted lips again she was breathless and had no concept of arguing or doing anything else but living in the languor of his embrace. Was she setting herself up to fall? Definitely. Did she care at the moment? Not at all.
