Pearl considered the thought, "The snake-man could not of have been pleased by the packs' division, maybe he's still recovering from the loss of the members." She moved about the room tidying what needed it most. It was a strange thought to think that this home was welcoming another, when only too recently they broke off from a much larger group. "We'll have to just keep watch, maybe even try and keep track of scents if we come across them." She turned back toward Zander smiled "Mean while, I've decided I will learn" she paused to consider what words to use, "to interact with wizards and humans...not just pack members." It was a great deal more difficult that she would of guessed to admit she didn't know how to change. She and the pack had been creatures of nature at the best of times, terrible monsters at the worst. Getting closer to the human line of their lives changed how they would have to live, and she had to learn.

Zander was surprised, but pleasantly so. His thinking was that unless the pack learned to assimilate better with humans and get more in touch with that part of themselves, the risk of possible attacks on humans would increase. So far, when they were in their wolf forms, they were able to keep their heads as long as they remained together. The pack mentality helped them all to remain clear. But as Zander had learned when he had slipped up and bitten Dean, if anyone was to be separated from the rest of the pack, there was a great danger of a possible attack on a human. Zander felt that anything they could do to retain their own humanity even in their beast forms was a good idea.
"That's a good idea," he agreed, nodding his approval. "I think we should all try to do that, as much as we can. What are you going to do? Are you thinking of getting a job?"

Pearl bowed her head when Zander praised her idea, looking back up at him she answered " Chloe offered to take me to the restaurant where she works. I do not have magic, but I could learn how to talk to people there." She hadn't told Chloe that she was now seriously considering her offer, but she didn't think she would object to Pearl getting a job with her. "We should be cautious...I do not think we could all accomplish this goal...Skye is very gentle, she may not do well with...others." she also thought Karl would have a difficult time, he had been older than her, at least as a human when he was turned. She thought it could be difficult to remember everything he tried very hard to forget. he embraced his wolf as a shelter, as many did when they turned at the fangs of Greyback.

"I think that will be a good idea," Zander said. "I'm sure Chloe will help you get used to working, and I know you will do well with people."
He nodded his agreement as well about Skye. She had made massive improvements since she first joined the pack, but her quiet nature might not mix well with the more boisterous types she might see in a working environment. "I think Skye is better suited to work at home. Her garden is coming along really well, and we'll have enough food to make it through the winter. She can spend the day working in the garden and cooking for the rest of the pack. And Karl... well, he's come a long way since he started seeing Chloe. He'll always be a little rough around the edges, but he's good for the physical labor... chopping wood and fixing things around the house. Everyone has their own talents, why not put them to use?"
