Julie nodded. "Yes, I suppose mine does the same thing. It just usually makes me do it all out loud." She laughed. He would learn... she was a very animated person.
"Well, I'm finished," she said, putting her spoon in her bowl. "We should probably get back to the castle."

Daniel laughed along with Julie. She was a a very lively person, and Daniel was glad the two had become quick friends.
"Yea, I'm done too," Daniel added. He reached in his pocket and put the money covering the check on the table.

"Thank you," she told him, smiling brightly as he left the money. She wasn't one to argue... if he wanted to pay, let him.
Julie stood from her seat in the booth, and waited for him before they made their way outside and back towards the castle.

Daniel had always been taught by his mother that he would be the one to pay the check. "Always if your with a lady," his mother would say, and so it was second nature to him that Daniel paid for dinner.
He stood after Julie and together they walked out the door of the resturant. It had become considerably darker outside than when the two had begun. And colder as well.

Julie squinted at the sky. "Well, no clouds in sight. That's definitely a good sign," she said, wrapping her cloak a little tighter around herself. "I had forgotten how cold it could get here. I spent a lot of time in California, in the States... man, parts of that place never get cold."

Daniel shivered as another gust of cold air blew past them. "Yea, I forgot how cold it got too," he said, as they entered the grounds.
"California, eh? Did you like it there?" Daniel asked curiously.

Julie smiled and nodded as she pulled her cloak tighter around her body. Merlin, London froze sometimes. "Of course I liked California. I like everywhere I've been to."
She never disliked a place. She had wanderlust, certainly, but the affair was always to go, never to leave. Few saw the difference, but it was a big difference to her.
"Have you ever been to California? Or anywhere stateside?"

"Yea, I went to the states for a little bit," Daniel said. He went to all the more popularly known places that made the states so popular; San Francisco, Chicago, New York... He didn't like it all that much. "I much rathered spending time in the Amazon, cant really say why though..." Daniel said, recalling the massive insects that were there. "I was nearly eaten alive..."

"Oh yeah... I was too when I was there. I thought it was fascinating, though. Can you imagin if we had some of those bugs here, just walking down the street with us?"
There were very few places that Julie had not been too, and the fact that she could share some of her experiences with Daniel energized her. She was excited to talk about it.

"If i saw one of those things walking down the street, I think I'd feint," Daniel laughed. They continued walking and the school had just come into view. "So, Ms. Dean, favorite place you traveled to?" Daniel asked.

"Favorite place I've traveled to..." Julie repeated, thinking over the question. "That's difficult."
She was one of those self proclaimed saps that felt like she took a piece of every place with her, so it was like asking what part of her own self she liked best.
"I guess, if you're going to make me choose, it would Venice, Italy. But only during the carnival is it my favorite place. And yours?"

Daniel paused to think for a moment, "You know, with all I say about how amazing my travels in the forests and jungles are, I think my absolute favorite place would be..." he paused. "Australia." he said. "I liked it there, spent a lot of time there actually." he smiled.
