Minerva wasn't quite convinced by the man's cheeky smile, but she raised an eyebrow at the girl's actions but didn't say anything further. It wasn't unusual for professors to have their private relations in the staff rooms, and as long as they kept it private and out of the school then she truly didn't care. "Indeed it seems it is. Goodnight Mr. Rookwood." And she let her hold on her wand loose and continued on down the hall to her own quarters, an amused look almost touching her face.

As Minerva passed, Augustus gave Arachne a similarly amused look, and then he turned, and was on his way back to his own quarters.

After Arachne closed her door, she wasn't sure if she wanted to laugh or frown. The thought of sneaking up to bug Rabastan flitted through her mind but she decided against it, there was too much to think about. The primary of which is the fact that her boss had turned out to be much more than she'd suspected, and now knew her secrets. There were two now within the castle walls that she knew to be servants of the Dark Lord... and both who know knew her desire to be one among other things. And the fact that her boss was a good kisser was rather amusing, that she wouldn't have originally suspected. It had been an unusual night and there was much to think on. She decided to spend the night in her web where she could think in silence while she spun a new web.
