After TryOuts (Rystain, Lani, Open)

Lani rolled her eyes and nodded along. "Yes, yes, I know. Honestly, it's just Ryan I'm scared of, and I already proved I can handle him."

He knew she could handle it, or he would have chosen the other kid who survived over her.

"You could teach me," she said, her voice lowering, almost into a purr. "Maybe a few... private lessons would be in order."

"I wouldn't worry about Ryan, he is that way with everyone. But I'm sure once you prove yourself to him he might not be quite so hard on you. As for teaching you, that is what practices are for... though I might be persuaded to provide private lessons if there is sufficient incentive." He reached out and held her hand, bringing it to his mouth so he could kiss the inside of her wrist softly. His tongue flicking softly against her pulse.

Of all the places on her body, and that was the one that made her smile and her skin tingle. She smiled at him.

"You said it yourself... you want me to survive and, what was the phrase? Be the best? That alone should be incentive enough for you," she said, letting him read into that however he wanted to.

"Where's your ambition, Lani? You can be the best all on your own if you try hard just like everyone else does. So what would I benefit from giving you private lessons, other than the pleasure of your company that is? " He nipped softly at her pulse and then soothed it again with his tongue and lips, sensually.

Her ambition was right in this room, and she was mildly frustrated that he wasn't reading her the right way. Or he was, and he was purposefully not playing back.

She bit her lip in response to what he was doing... Merlin, she was so easy for him.

Finally, deciding she should take charged, she pulled her hand from him and fisted both of her hands in the front of his robes, pulling them together in a heated kiss.

Rystain felt a surge of satisfaction at her response as she kissed him. And he enjoyed every moment of her take-charge kiss. Now that was the ambition he'd been looking for in her, and she had not disappointed him. She had fire when she wanted to, and he was instantly turned on by that fire. Yes this would do nicely he thought, if private lessons included this fiery vixen then he had incentive.

Lani broke the kiss, resisting the urge to smirk at him, and she let go of his robes.

Then, moving past him, she headed for the door. "Well then, I'm off to go practice on my own..." the words practically dripped from her lips. Let him stew on that mental image for a while, she thought.

Rystain let out a guttural sounded as if a mix of a growl and a groan. "Lani.. that's not nice." He stood up but he didn't follow her. "But if you really want to practice, I'll go take my shower." He smirked at her back.

She bat her eyelashes at him. "I'm only doing what you suggested," she said, unable to stop her smile. "I'm being a good chaser, and listening to her captain."

There... she could put it back on him. She was half tempted to suggest getting a shower with him, but she felt like teasing him for the teasing he'd given her earlier. Turnabout was fair play, she decided.

Rystain nodded, "Of course you are. In that case make sure you put the equipment away when you're done? I'm thinking a nice long shower is in order however because although you might be willing to go practice today, I'm ready to go relax and get clean." He chuckled.

Damn him.

She looked over her shoulder, trying to figure out just how much space she had before she'd walk out into the open and be seen.

"All right. I suppose I'll see you around then," she said, determined to make him come to her as she turned on her heel and let her robe drop completely. She made a show of bending to get it from the ground, and revealing to him that under those robes, she was only wearing a bra and panty set. Had she known she'd be trying out, she would have worn something more accomodating, but as it was, Rystain had something to look at. And if he didn't want to touch after that, she'd have serious doubts about the both of them.

She reached the door and opened it.

Rystain groaned when she bent over, he would have gone to her at that moment except his feet wouldn't move. By the time he did reach her however her hand had already reached the door. "Lani..." He captured her hand and pulled her back towards him in a very confident movement that left no room but to come into his arms. "...you forgot your clothing, dearest." he whispered it against her lips as he kissed her hungrily.

Lani smirked inwardly. Now that was more like it.

"I left them for you," she managed before he kissed her, and she returned it with fire, pressing her near naked body into him. "I'm trying to thank you and you're making it so incredibly difficult," she said.

"You're trying to thank me for what?" Who was being difficult? She was the one barely covered and making it incredibly difficult for him to think of anything besides taking her right there in the equipment room.. or the shower.. that had it's merits too. His mind wondered to places he could take her, but he was still trying to concentrate on her words.. it wasn't his fault he was failing miserably when she was pressed against him like that.

"For adding me to the team. Merlin, Rystain, can you think of nothing else?" She chastised him, but it was all in good fun. "And for thinking of nothing else, it took you such a long time to get to me..."

She unfolded her robe, pulling away a little, and moved to put it back on. "But now that I have your attention, can we go celebrate?"

[Rystain Quandry]

"You want me to think of something else when you're dressed like that?" He gave her a look that said she must be insane if she thought that. "And you had me speachless and motionless with your beautfy Leilani Evetts. Forgive me for wanting you." He didn't look sorry at all.

Rystain groaned as she began to put her robe on, "You just like to torture me don't you? ..and yes.. we can go celebrate. But I still need that shower..." He grinned suggestively.

Than Godric for that grin or she would seriously have to worry. "I never said we couldn't do both at the same time," she suggested.

"And yes, actually... I sincerely enjoy torturing you. It's nice to know it works. But I'm not about to walk across the pitch half naked, either."

[Rystain Quandry]

"How about I take you down to the dorms and we can take a shower in private? I don't really feel like having all those fools who didn't make the team hearing your pretty little screams." He kissed the tip of her nose softly, as he tried to help her put her robe back on. He didn't intend for her to walk half naked either.

"I could agree to that," Lani said, seriously this time as she let her hands drop and let him refasten her robe. "But... I don't want your roommates to hear my screams either... assuming you're good enough to make me scream," she challanged.

Rystain sighed softly, "where ever you wish to go.. I think either way someone's going to hear you. But I doubt they'd be in the dorms at his time of day anyways. And I will take that as a challenge, Lani."
