Severus regretted taking off his shoes in class. His pale skin was far from used to sunshine and even less to beach sun. the skin of his face, and feet were now bright red and covered in fine liquid filled blisters. His skin was thin and soft, un-used to the treatment his hands bore working with potions since he was very young and running around alone his home on Spinners' End. He was grateful that his hands didn't burn like the rest of his body was sure to have burned.
"Hello? Madam Pompfrey?" he called out into the hospital wing. he wondered where she would be.

Madam Pomfrey heard the voice and came running. "Hello, Severus," she said, seeing the boy standing there. As she drew closer, she saw the burns on one side of his face and let out a slight gasp. "For Merlin's sake, Severus, whatever happened!"

He grinned "Sunshine." he thought it was funny that everyone older than he, sometimes even his mother, said he needed more sunshine.
He winced as he stepped into the hospital wing. "I have some on his feet too. Transfiguration class is a killer." he said it without humor and sat down on a bed.
