"He does. He seems to get off on it. But I can't fault him for that, really. We all do what is necessary to get ahead. And Slughorn's figured out that all he has to do is make friends. But yes, the name..." She sneered dramatically. It was an awful name. "I'm sure Narcissa was invited. She had better be, so I'll ask her what she thought of the guests."

"Yes I just saw him writing out a few of the invitations before I left class one day after doing some potion evaluations for him. I did see your cousin's name on one.. Sirius Black. I wonder if your sister might have something of interest to share about any of them, if she attended."

"Well he is a Black, afterall. And even bloodtraitorous Blacks are worth something to the rest of society." She shook her head, disgusted. It was all backwards to her, but that was why she had joined up with Lord Voldemort. To fix the injustice.

"That's one of the things I don't understand about Hogwarts. At Durmstrang we didn't have houses, you either were accepted or not. But muggleborns were never allowed acceptance. A shame Hogwarts lowers its standards so much. I think there would be less bloodtraitors in the world if it the mudbloods were kept out of the schools where it all starts. It really is a bad influence on young minds. I think Durmstrang had the right idea at least." She kept walking and just talking, not minding sharing her thoughts on the subject, since she doubted that Bellatrix would disagree.

"I blame Dumbledore. He's much too soft on them. And he's been in charge for so long that it's just become acceptable around here. Of course I know better. And I always got on with Sirius when he was younger. I blame Dumbledore for the way Sirius turned out. Now Andromeda, she's just always been like that. I think one of the nanny's must have dropped her on her head when she was younger."

"Perhaps she was a bad seed from the start, unfortunately it happens even to the best of families I hear. Every family seems to have little white sheep that pop out of the broom closet on occasion, and it's our job to make sure that door stays firmly shut or the sheep is sheered." Arachne was if nothing else, versed in using metaphors to explain something.

"That is the general consensus regarding Andi. Although I'm not so sure my parents would describe her as politely as you do. They have much more colorful terms for people like her." The walk through the village was short and they passed under the stone gargoyles at the gate to the Hogwarts' grounds.
