Samantha finally reached the Owlry, she could have used her beautiful new phoenix if only she wasn't worried about the bird liking Nicolas more than her, well that and the Phoenix was in an older cycle today and she wanted to take care of the bird.
She hadn't brought her own owl to Hogwarts it having broken it's wing at the beginning of the semester. Sam hated to do it but the bird needed to heal. Using one of the other Owls she attached her letter then used her forefinger to pet the bird, "Fly fast my friend. Nicolas Everhart." she said giving the name. She sighed thinking about him and anticipated his arival within the next few days.
