Lyra was not please at all when Professor McGonagall came in and essentially ruined all the fun. The game, as odd as it was, was somewhat entertaining. But now Professor Long was telling them all they had to complete an obstacle course? And she had to change her clothes? Where had all the fun gone? She rolled onto her side and looked at Rystain who had joined her again. She lifted his arm which was covering his face. "She wants me to put on more clothes! She's totally unreasonable!" She dropped his arm back onto his face and sat up, crossing her legs and resting her chin on her hand. She didn't want to participate in a silly survivor obstacle course, and she certainly did not want to leave the fate of her grades in the hands of a partner.

Samantha laughed, "This was supposed to be a survivor lesson Lyra, come now, where's your sense of adventure?" she inquired. Totally unreasonable, if asking that they actually work in class was totally unreasonable Lyra would have hated Sam's tutors. Those men drove her into the ground relentlessly making sure she could perform like a monkey in heels whenever asked to.
"Besides, I'm of a mind to win that prize and I believe the other students may be getting a head start on us." she pouted.

Lyra grumbled as she stood and joined Sam, who's face looked much too pleased with the outcome of this class. "I don't really see the point to this at all. And while I'll participate, don't you expect me to be giddy about it. It's just not going to happen." She followed wherever Sam was going, rolling her eyes at almost every tree she passed in the 'jungle'.

Sam gave her a sympathetic pat on the shoulder before stepping in after her. Before Hogwarts she would have shown just as much disdain if not more for this silly adventure, but because she was here at a new school and being a new Sam things had a more whimsical feel to them. There was a bit of hope and fantasy in Sam's life and she couldn't get over that so quickly.

Nikita set them off and glanced at the clock once more, they'd have about an hour or so to work and then the class would be over, she was eager to see who the winner of her mini challenge was and was keeping close tabs on the rest of her students.
This "adventure" along with other classes soon to come were Nikita's placement tests, she wouldn' tknow what to teach the students until she knew where they all stood. It would be interesting to see where they all placed.

Bek looked to Maxi, Seth, and Gage. "Well, shall we?" She asked, leading the way into the jungle after the others. Survivor situations were good for their little group. They were 4 seperate parts of a good whole. One from each house. Bek knew they'd be fine.

Not wanting to be left behind to do this task on his own, not that he probably couldn't but why would he on purpose? He noticed Alice was here though Frank wasn't so he went over and asked her to join him. "Hey want a partner? You look kind of alone there today." He gave her his normal charming smile and held out his hand.

Alice nodded and joined Rystain. She didn't have any other partner today, Frank was avoiding her still, and she decided that between herself and Rystain they'd be a strong pair for whatever lay ahead. They were both very skilled and though most didn't know their history, they did have a unique friendship that they didn't normally show. She took his hand and let him lead her off to complete the assignment.

Sam watched as Rystain left Lyra and her and frowned, had she said something to make him change his mind about being their partner? Well it probably wasn't worth worrying over except that she didn't understand it, either way she had a task to complete and she should get started on it if Lyra was in then that was great if not...well she worked best on her own as it was.

Sam rolled her eyes, "Well you don't really expect us ladies of high breeding to go through the jungle do you?" she asked laughing at the looks on Lyra's face, she was so displeased.
Using her wand she didn't have a use yet for Transfiguration but she could summon her boom, she wasn't going through a jungle.

The adventure was just beginning for the students but already the class period had gone on. She herself was anxious to see what spells the kids ended up using and would be checking wands by the end of the assignment to see what had been cast when and where and usually she could tell why as well. She wished them Luck a third time before she went back to her teacher's notes.
(OOC: I've decided to divi this up into classes/ challenges so for instance this class will end and the next class will still be a part of this assignment but the "challenge" will be up as the "class lesson" and each team or well person rather with hopefully their teammates will post how they would handle the situation lol this class has been idle for too long a time. I should have that lesson up soon so for now this thread will close and then the next thread will be more posting even where people left off.)
