Attention All Students!
This term we will be hosting a miniature version of the Tri-Wizard Tournament! Instead of hosting students from other schools, however, we will have one student from each House competing against each other in a four-way version of the Tri-Wizard Tournament. The winner will receive 5,000 galleons, and 500 points for their house, and may be eligible to move on to compete in a full-scale Tri-Wizard Tournament against two competing schools next year.
In order to be eligible for the contest, you must be at least 5th year or over. If you are interested, please sign up in this thread. One student from each house will be chosen. In the event that no one from a house enters, that house will forfeit.

Also, just because one person from each house has already signed up, that doesn't mean you can't give it a try yourself, if your character is eligible. It would be better if we didn't have an easy choice for who would be competing.

I would be a good contestant because (include your strengths): I am brave and I love a good challenge. I know a lot of Defense and just random, useful spells. I'm good with a wand, broomstick and my brain. If I won I wouldn't tease everyone and brag about it, I'm not a bad winner, I'm a good winner.
Oh and I know how to handle some of the most Dangerous situations.

I would be a good contestant because (include your strengths): I'm fearless. Some might say I'm looking for death, they'd be wrong, I'm looking for life, for anything that makes me *feel* alive. The tourney would be just the challenge to get my blood pumping since I live for challenges and, "Laugh in the face of Danger". I've always been quick thinking, it would seem I have nine lives for how many times I get into trouble and out of it without a scratch. While at Beauxbatons I trained for the Tri-Wizard Tournament in hopes that I would represent my school, now that I'm attending Hogwarts nothing would give me more pleasure than to prove myself in hopes that I may also face old advesaries when the larger tournament begins. I'm adept with most hexes and jinxes from...personal experience, but I'm also well educated in Defense out of...necessity. I have more than enough determination to succeed.

I would be a good contestant because: I'm not afraid of trying things and doing what needs done, level headed and calm under pressure. I have strong abilities in DADA and charms, although I'm also well versed in potions, transfigurations and herbology. I am willing to go the extra mile for those I care for and to prove myself for the good of the Gryffindor name.
