Hope Is Not LOST: An Alternate Reality Lost RPG
Oceanic Flight 815, bound for Los Angeles, left the airport in Sydney, Australia, with 324 passengers and crew members on board. Each one of those passengers had family and friends back at home waiting for their safe return. What they didn't know was that Oceanic Flight 815 would soon crash on a small, remote island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean.
When the plane failed to land at LAX airport in Los Angeles, everyone feared the worst for the doomed plane. But a small group of family members held fast to the belief that the people they loved would still be found alive. Slowly, they began to get in contact with each other and form a rapidly growing alliance, bonded together in their determination to find their loved ones safe and sound.
Meanwhile, Penelope Widmore, daughter of wealthy businessman Charles Widmore, has been searching for years for her lost love, Desmond Hume, convinced in her heart that her true love is still alive. By spying on her father, she has learned of a mysterious island in the Pacific and believes Desmond has landed there. As she hears about Oceanic 815 and the desperate hopeful families and their attempts to find what really happened to the plane, she realizes that there's a chance the plan might have landed on that same island. So she joins forces with them, offering her considerable resources to help them find the island, even as her father sends a competing ship to search for the island... with something other than rescue on his mind...
Now, with the lives of Desmond and everyone on the island at stake, Penny prepares to send her own rescue crew, unaware of the power struggle between her father and Ben Linus. She's even planted her own spy on board her father's freighter! Who is it? Will he or she get caught, or be the one to help save everyone? Which group will come out on top?
