If it was possible to drown in paper, Justine was sure she was about to do just that. She'd let herself get way too far behind in her studies, and now she had a huge report for Potions class, and three tests to study for in only 2 days.
She blamed Jason, of course, for distracting her. They'd been fighting more than ever lately, and it was really starting to get to her. She hadn't talked to any of her other friends lately, and she was sure none of them wanted anything to do with her at this point.
But now she was determined not to think of him at all and concentrate on her studies. Right now she was working on the Potions report, a boring paper about the benefits of using salamander skin vs. snake skin as a potion ingredient. There were stacks of books piled all arund her, almost completely obscuring her face from anyone who might be passing by. She had no idea that she was taking up the entire table with her books, or that there were no other tables available at the moment.

Louisa made her way hurriedly to the library. She was swamped with homework, and being the procrasinator she was, she was only just getting to do it. Of course, she didn't have an excuse for not getting her homework in, and she couldn't use the "My gran died." excuse due to the fact if the teachers actually tallied up how many times she'd said that, she'd have to have had over twenty grandmothers...
Pushing the large doors open, she stepped in, and looked around, there were no tables empty. There was one table, with only one person on...and an avalanch of books. She approched slowly, not wanting to scare the person.
"Um...are you breathing under there?" She asked, "Cuz if you are, would you mind if I joined you?" Was it possible to breathe with that many books around you?

Justine was startled to hear a voice near her. She was so deep in her studies that she had literally forgotten about the outside world. She peered over the top of the mountain of books to look at the girl who had spoken.
She looked vaguely familiar, like someone she might have seen in the common room, but had never talked to. "Oh... um, yeah, I guess. Just push some of these books aside. Just don't let any of them fall on you... that's what would probably happen to me, anyway. Come to think of it, I'm surprised that none of them have already fallen." She laughed nervously.

Louisa smiled, and took a seat in an empty chair, she made a small space on the desk by stacking a few of the books up in to higher 'towers'
"Cheers m'dear," she said, happily. "Don't jinx yourself...they'll probably fall on you now, cuz you said that..." She added slowly, watching the stacked books pre-cautiously.
"You're a Slytherin, right?" She thought she recognised this person, but she wasn't too sure. There were an awful lot of people in this school.

"Yeah, really," Justine agreed, rolling her eyes. "Ugh, I swear, this is the last time I'm going to let my work build up so much... I'm such a procrastinator, it's not even funny."
She carefully attempted to straighten one of the stacks, which was leaning in a particularly dangerous angle, then turned to look at the girl. "Yeah, I'm in Slytherin. I'm Justine. I know I've seen you around before, but I don't know your name."

Louisa grinned, "Same with me." She said, "Procrastionation seems like a good idea at the time...then it's times like this you realise how dumb it actually is." She thought about all the different types of work she had to do today, and had to be handed in tomorrow,
"I thought you were," Louisa said, "I'm Louisa. You have a nice name."

Justine smiled. "Yeah, I know. I really should know better than to put stuff off like this. Every time, I say I'm never going to do it again, but then I do." Sighing, she stared down at the book in front of her, which had long since stopped making any sense at all. "This time it was barely even my fault. My stupid boyfriend's been bugging me lately... it's hard to get anything done when we're always fighting about something."
She really didn't want to talk about Jason. She was too annoyed with him to even think about him. "Anyway, thanks. It's nice to meet you, Louisa."
