Amanda had a new little protege who was literally dying of thirst. Since Delila had not yet killed, and seemed reluctant to take a life, Amanda decided it best if she started someplace simple. Of course Amanda would have preferred Delila to take a young child as her first, but alas the girl seemed too innocent to harm innocents. But she was sure Delila would come around.
For now Amanda focused her attentions on the drunkards outside a horrible little karaoke bar. With the amount of alcohol necessary for getting up in front of your peers and voluntarily making a fool of yourself, there should be no reason for Delila not to have a nice meal. It would be like taking blood from a baby.

Delila looked up at Amanda, "What do we do?" She asked, she looked at the men outside the building a little hungrily.
(I'll try for longer next post)

She really was ignorant. Amanda couldn't remember if she had needed so much help with her first kill. After all, Delila was smack dab in the middle of a free buffet and she was still asking what she should do.
Keeping a pleasant face Amanda said, "watch, and learn."
She sauntered up to one of the more sober men, keeping the drunkest as an easy score for Delila. "Sorry to bother you sir," she said in her most polite voice. "But I was wondering if you could assist me. I lost control of my broom and crashed it into that tree over there. I'm afraid I'm not a skilled enough witch to retrieve it. Perhaps a big man like yourself could get it for me?"
She guided the man around to the side of the bar, where a large oak tree was, and no other patrons. From where Delila stood, the girl would be able to see clearly what was going on, but the wizard's friends were out of sight. As the man stared up into the tree for a broom that wasn't there, Amanda strode up behind him and sunk her teeth quickly into his exposed neck, draining his blood until he could no longer stand on his own feet. He was still alive, barely, and Amanda sharply turned his head, breaking his neck and finally stopping his heart.
She wiped her mouth as she returned to Delila, a smile on her face. "The key is to stop before the heart stops. Cold blood is nearly as awful as that food humans eat. Now have a go at it darling."

Delila nodded then walked over to a fountain and put water down from her eyes to the bottom of her face. She then ran to the man making sure to sound and look upset. "Please, my kitty! H-he fell in a hole! H-he c-can't get out!" She lead him over to a small deep hole and as he was bent over with his wand lit she sank her fangs into his neck. She drained him of blood until he fell with his head in the hole. She pushed the man's body and heard his neck snap. She skipped over to Amanda smiling, she thought it felt thrilling to kill.

The girl was a natural and Amanda was proud. The production, her follow through; it was all fantastic. "Excellent, love. That was marvelous."
She used her thumb to wipe a little blood from the corner of Delila's mouth. "Ready for more? The night is young." Amanda's face lit up as she smiled at her young cohort. She would let Delila pick their next stop for the evening, seeing as how she had done so well here.

"Yeah, I would like more." Delila said, she didn't know anything of the places where they were. "Where do we go now? I know nothing of this place."

The young vampire was so polite, a rarity these days. Amanda listed a few options for Delila to choose from, including the high street of Hogsmeade where unsuspecting witches and wizards were finishing up their shopping for the day, the pubs in London where Delila could have another easy round of cat and mouse, and King's Cross where the trains ran all night with plenty of muggles and wizards alike to feast upon.

"The pub." Delila said smiling, she wondered where this pub was located precisely. Just then she turned her head as a small boy a little older then her appeared walking up the street. Her eyes flashed angrily and she balled her hands into fists. She hated that we would grow older and she wouldn't, she wanted to take his life like she felt hers was taken from her.
(Not change him like her just kill him:P)

Amanda nodded, an began heading up the street when she realized Delila was no longer with her. She turned back to see the girl scowling at a young boy, Amanda knew instantly what she was thinking. A sly grin spread across her face, an evil glint in her eyes.
"Pay him no mind poppet. He's done nothing, aside from mock your inability to grow. To live. He's not even worth the blood that runs through his veins..." She watched the girl's eyes, the intensity within them. Her anger and jealousy. It was magnificent.

Delila looked at Amanda with a slight pout, she wanted him to die because he will age. She hated him because he was alive, she knew if he was dead he would never age. She looked back at the boy hating him more with every step he took. She took a step toward him as her anger grew.

"Can you hear his heart beating, poppet? It seems so unfair that he should have a beating heart, while you do not. Perhaps you ought to level the playing field."
Amanda enjoyed egging her on, and hoped for a little show as Delila's jealousy grew. The unsuspecting boy continued to walk, getting closer to the hungry vampire with every step. If he had not yet experienced pain, he soon would.

Delila could hear his heart beating, the sound was taunting her. She thought about how to get the boy, she figured she would act the damsel in distress. She mussed up her hair a bit and placed a few twigs and leaves in her hair then ran out in front of the boy. She looked over her shoulder in a panic, she looked at the boy and grabbed him. "Help me please... there's a huge mean dog chasing me..." She acted out of breath and lead the boy to the woods hidden from the street. As the boy looked around for the dog she grabbed him and pulled her down to her acting like she was going to kiss him. She sank her fangs into his skin and drank his blood, when he fell to his knees she stood up and as she looked into his eyes she snapped his neck.

With her vampire ears Amanda could clearly hear the boy's neck break and his heart stop. Such a beautiful sound; silence. She waited for Delila to return to her, then they would go terrorize a few more places before the sun came up.

Delila let the boy's body fall to the ground then skipped over to Amanda. She didn't care if the humans thought killing was bad but she found it fun. Once she got to Amanda she acted as if she killed on a daily bases and what she had done was to big deal. "Where to next?"
(It's so weird to put Amanda, it's my sister's name lol)

Amanda grinned. "Follow me," she said as she headed off down the road. Though they would be going on foot, vampires were notorious for their lightning quick speed. They would be in London in no time. And good thing too, Amanda was getting hungry.

Delila skipped along beside Amanda, "He had fear in his eyes when he realized he wouldn't live. It was wonderful." She told the elder vampire as she looked up at her, she found herself wondering how the human male she had met before would react if he knew she was killing.

Amanda was much a like a proud mother after their child had won a spelling bee. Delila had taken to hunting so quickly. In the future the girl would learn to play with them a little while longer, instead of just rushing through a story and dragging the off to a dark place. But for her first days it was marvelous.
Amanda sighed romantically. "Isn't it a thrill? You can practically taste their fear." She spoke in a dreamy voice, her eyes soft and looking at nothing in particular.

Delila nodded as she continued to skip along side her, she was glad she had met Amanda. She was getting to learn how to cure her thirst and she had a sort of mother figure. She didn't know if she wanted to remember her real family, she couldn't remember their faces, only their voices. A part of her wanted to see if she could find them, but another part wanted to keep it in the past.
