Bored, and with a little extra pocket money since he swindled that old bat in Paisley, Caleb headed out to Hogsmeade to wander about and possibly spend a few knuts on something pointless. Aimlessly he walked up the high street, veering off onto the side streets when something caught his eye.
He had been in a few shops, checked out the local ladies, got slapped in the face a few times, and was about to return to London when a small shop popped out at him. Randolph Trades. Curious he had never been here. It looked something like Borgin and Burkes in Knockturn Alley.
Intrigued, Caleb headed inside. He simply browsed the shelves and display cases, not intending on buying anything specific.

Bella wanted to get a few things before she started her post as Professor Rothschild's assistant, and Lord Voldemort's spy. She thought the best way to keep track of things properly would be with a journal, but she had to ensure that no one would be able to read it. She also wanted a few Mockingbirds, a great invention that looked like a harmless bird but repeated everything it overheard to it's keeper. She was sure she could find these items, and maybe a few more, at Randolph's Trades. The prices were a little more reasonable than Borgin and Burkes and not as obvious either.
Of course when she entered the little shop she Caleb. She couldn't possibly say he was stalking her now, he had been here first, but it was still bothersome none the less. She tried to ignore him and just find the items she desired without having to converse with him.

The door opened again and when Caleb casually looked to see who was coming in, he saw Bellatrix. She seemed to be dodging him, which made Caleb laugh inside his head. She was so arrogant that she thought herself too good to be spoken to by Caleb. He would have to have a little fun with her. "Come on Bellatrix. I see you hiding over there, stop stalking me already!" He spoke extremely loud, considering they were the only customers in the silent store.

Bellatrix was mortified at Caleb's outburst, but luckily for her the shop was empty. If even one person had heard his claim that Bella was stalking Caleb, and not the other way around, she would have died. "Shut it Cal. No one thinks you're funny." She passed right past him, her nose stuck up in the air as if she were too good to breath the same air as Caleb, and headed for the counter.
"Have you got any Mockingbirds?" The clerk nodded and went into the back room where Bella could hear him rummaging around.

"Mockingbirds, eh? Doing a little snooping are we?" Caleb had always been a nosy little bugger and overhearing Bellatrix requesting such an item made him curious about what she was up to. He had heard a little about her new mission for the Dark Lord at the last meeting. But as it was never a 'here's what's going on' sort of meeting, and more of a 'do this now' meeting, Caleb didn't really get the whole picture.

Bella rolled her eyes and didn't even look at Caleb as she responded. "Actually I just like the way they sound... You're such an idiot Cal. It's a wonder He hasn't had you killed already." The clerk returned with two Mockingbirds, each in their own box with bold red markings on the side. "Make yourself useful Cal and pass me one of those journals." Bella pointed to a bookshelf behind him, where different colored self-locking journals were on display.

Caleb huffed at her remark. While he hadn't yet had the opportunity to prove himself to the Dark Lord, he didn't think Bellatrix should speak of him like that. His chance was coming up, and hopefully he would be recognized. Caleb looked to the bookcase behind him and found the most annoying journal on the shelves, a hot pink one with a heart shaped lock on the front. He pulled it down and carried it over to Bellatrix. "Here you are, your majesty." He snickered as he walked out of the shop without spending any money at all.

Bella was busy counting her coins and didn't notice which journal he had given her until the clerk said, "Suits you Miss." She looked up, her brow furrowed in curiosity at what he could have meant by his remark. That was when she saw the pink journal; it was something Narcissa might enjoy. But to Bellatrix it was disgusting. "Shut up you moron." She snatched the journal from him and switched it for a nice deep maroon colored one, with no particular shaped to its lock. If Caleb hadn't ducked out so quickly she would have given him an earful. But instead she paid for her items and left the shop. She now had everything she needed for her mission, unless something unexpected came up later on.
