It was late at night when the clouds began to gather, covering the night's sky like a melancholy blanket of darkness. The stars no longer shone brightly, the moonlight disappeared. The only lights were the flickering candles that lined the walk leading up to the observatory. And as Amanda skipped up the walk she ran her cold hand through the flames, extinguishing each one as she went. Once at the door to the observatory she slinked off to the side, blending into the darkness of the night, unseen by the wizards and witches who were leaving the observatory.

Edward walked up to the observatory, he made sure to wear his best robes, which he bought not long after his drink with Bridget. He glanced around as he waited for her, he looked up at the sky, it was a habit of his since he became a hunter.

A pretty boy appeared as a large group left the observatory. He seemed to be waiting for someone, what with the way he was looking around. He was a slender man, with the build of an athlete. Perfect for a little plaything.
While the man looked up at the sky Amanda slowly crept up behind him, crawling on her hands and knees across the soft green grass. When she reached him she slid between his legs laying on her back staring up at him.
"Hullo lover." Her long, thin fingers clinched tightly around the hem of his robes, so he couldn't get away.

Ed looked down at the voice, he saw she had a hold on his robes. He thought she had to the what Bridget was looking for, he looked up but didn't see her anywhere. "Please let go of my robes." He just bought them that day and didn't want anything to happen to them.

Amanda laughed at how polite he was being. Using his leg, she 'climbed' into a sitting position, her face now level with his groin. She looked up at him, baring her teeth and smiling. "Such a polite young thing."
Amanda reached up quickly and grabbed the clasp on his robes, pulling his face down to meet hers. Brushing his golden hair back she said "and such a pretty thing too."

Ed felt the panic start to rise in his chest when she pulled his head down so they were face to face. He didn't want to seem like a coward but vampires were different from werewolves and bears. He hoped Bridget would show up real soon, he was worried that he wouldn't live to see the next day.

Bridget had taken longer than planned when she went home. She wanted to look nice for Ed when they met up that night and couldn't decide what to wear. It had to be practical, she was going to search for the vampire that had managed to evade her three times now. Bridget knew what she would be up against. But at the same time, she didn't want Ed to see her in some tattered, faded old thing like she usually wore. And then there was her hair. She spent nearly thirty minutes putting it up, taking it down, curling it, straightening it. Finally, she decided in a deep red robe, light and flexible. And her hair was pulled back in a rose clip. She had told Ed to meet her at the observatory, and realizing she was now thirty-five minutes late, she quickly grabbed her wand and disapparated from her home.
She arrived at the observatory to find it nearly pitch black, only the fading moon lighting the long walk between the street and the building. She could see Ed up on the hill, behind him was a faint light from a window. Bridget could also make out another form with Ed, a woman. Bridget's heart lept into her throat. Running up the pathway to them she realized her fear. It was the same vampire she had been after for months now.
"Let him go, Amanda." She pointed her wand at the woman. Looking sternly at her.

Amanda's head turned slowly towards the shrill voice of the slayer. Once their eyes had met, Amanda cocked her head and stared curiously at Bridget. "Hullo again, love. I was expecting you."
She did not loosen her grip on the blond man, even as she spoke with the slayer. She liked this man-boy. He was frightened and fun to play with.

Ed was relieved when he heard Bridget's voice. "I-I was wondering if she was the one you were after." He thought that the vampire might be beautiful but not as beautiful as Bridget.

"I'm so sorry Ed. I shouldn't have been so long." She looked pleadingly toward him before again ordering Amanda to let him go. "You have no need for him Amanda. Let him go." She edged closer to the two of them, prepared for a fight. Bridget was mortified that her first attempt on a semi-date had so quickly turned. She could have kicked herself, but was sure Amanda would do that for her. Luckily, Ed was a werewolf hunter, and could probably fend for himself. But the fact that he hadn't managed to get away from the vampire yet worried her.

"It's alright, I would try to fight her but when I want to fight werewolves they wont be human, and bears differently aren't human, I grew up being told not to hit girls or women." Edward told her his voice shaking a bit, this was the first time he had been afraid.

Amanda was intrigued. Had the slayer finally gotten a boyfriend? She had to admit that he was kind of cute, in that 'I'd like to see you bleed' sort of way. But he was so skittish. He wreaked of fear, and Amanda was still just playing him. He wasn't even trying to get away, perhaps he enjoyed the threat of death.
She moved like lightning around Ed. She was now standing behind him, her right hand still clutching his robes and her left hand was grasping at his neck. Her long nails were digging into his skin.
"I think I'll enjoy killing this one, since he seems to mean so much to you."

Edward barely winced when the vampires nails went in his skin. His eyes flashed and he grabbed her wrist, "I have enough scars from beings trying to be human." He hated the fact that that werewolf had seduced him and left scars. "If I had my bows you wouldn't be here." Edward seethed his grip tightening as he tried forcing her to let go.

"Oooh. The pretty boy is fighting back. How delicious." Amanda licked her lips seductively as he tightened his grip on her wrist. She enjoyed pain, but would he? She swiped her right leg under his and used her free hand to knock him to the ground.

Seeing Amanda attack, Bridget knew the time for warnings was over. Quickly she lept into action, firing a stunning spell at the vampire. She rushed to Ed's side. Her spell wouldn't keep Amanda down for long.
"Are you alright?" She tried to help him up before Amanda got to him. Her training was telling her to take care of Amanda first, but her heart told her to check on Edward. She was a sucker for her heart.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just my pride's hurt." Ed stood with her help then rubbed his neck, he looked at Bridget and smiled, "Go get her." He took a few steps back, he felt like an idiot letting himself get caught off guard.

While the couple was having a little chat Amanda was able to sneak up on the slayer and grab her around her neck. Without a moment's hesitation Amanda sunk her teeth into Bridget's flesh.

"Bridget!" Edward glared at the vampire. "Let her go!" His fear was gone replaced by rage and anger.

((OOC: Apparently not enough rage and anger to actually help her though.))
Amanda felt the slayer's body start to go limp as she drained her blood. How easy mortal women were, when men were involved. She had been after Bridget for months now, always managing to escape without leaving so much as a puncture wound. But now that there was this man, Bridget was so distracted she had basically invited Amanda to dinner. Foolish mortals.

Edward pulled out his wand and pointed it at the vampire, "Let her go! Stupefy!" He could feel his anger rise as he saw Bridget start to turn white. Even when angry Ed had a steady hand to cast spells.
