Now that Bellatrix had graduated from Hogwarts, her parents had decided that they no longer needed to tend to Bella's little sisters during the school term. So, when Narcissa wrote home informing her parents that she needed some supplies for one of her classes, they sent Bella down to Hogsmeade. Bellatrix never had cared for listening to her parents, and decided to just have Narcissa meet her, instead of trying to remember everything she was supposed to buy and deliver to the school. Plus, this way she would have to go back onto Hogwarts property, a place she was greatly pleased to leave.
Bella leaned against the wall of a shop on the High Street as people passed by, minding their own business. She was wearing long, navy blue robes with silver swirls embroidered around the collar and wrists. Her hair was pulled up into a loose pony-tail, a few dark ringlets had freed themselves and fallen out, framing her long face. Her right pocket was weighed down with the coin purse her mother had given her. Bella kept insisting that the prices of things had gone up, and conned her mum into giving her a few extra sickles that she planned on spending on herself.

Narcissa owled home for a few things, but instead of an owl bringing her supplies, it brought her a note instead. She smiled as she read it. Now, she had good reason to leave the school and get away from all the mudbloods. Being here alone, without Bella or Lucius wasn't that great. Why did she have to be a year younger?!
Cissa slipped on her newer Slytherin robes, trimmed in sliver and green. She made it to Hogsmeade without a problem. Looking around for her sister, someone bumped into her, and she sneered at them for it. Finally, she came upon her. "Finally! It's so good to be out of that prison. Thanks for actually coming."

Bella was watching the passersby when she noticed her sister's blonde head traveling through the crowd. She watched as an overweight woman nearly dropped her shopping bags and while making a grab for them she rammed her fat arse into Narcissa. Bella smiled at the sneer that instantly graced Narcissa's lovely face. They certainly were two of a kind. Bellatrix pushed herself away from the wall and headed towards Cissa.
"I thought you might be missing me. I know I was your world in there," Bella teased. She had rarely seen her sister since Narcissa started dating Lucius Malfoy. "So," she said as she wrapped her arm around her little sister's shoulder, "what is you are needing so badly that mum sent me out to get it?"

Cissa laughed. "Well, things are pretty dull," she said. "I do need a reminder that you're out here somewhere every now and again. You know I've missed you." She glanced around and turned back to her sister. "So, I don't have to be back anytime soon. Let's just have the day to us shall we? We haven't had one of those in a long time!" She linked arms with her. "So, how have you been without me? Torturing anyone lately? Flirting? Marrying? Anything special?"

"Alright, a girls day sounds good." The two headed down through the bustling street, zig-zagging around the crowds. They didn't seem to be headed anywhere in particular, but since they had the whole day it didn't really matter. They could take their time. It wasn't as if Bellatrix had any important plans for today.
Answering the beginning of Narcissa's multiple questions, Bella said, "I've been positively boring. You know, I think I've read more books in the past few months than in my entire stay at Hogwarts. I almost envy you. At least there you can persuade some silly Ravenclaw to do your work for you." It had been hard realizing that she wasn't the best of the Dark Lord's followers, but she shouldn't be talking about that with her little sister, so she changed the subject. "Rodolphus has been very busy lately. But we are supposed to be going out to dinner next week when he gets back from some secretive business."

"I have been actually. The Slytherins that are at the school aren't like they were when you were there. They've slacked off, and they even let that stupid Potter kid take advantage of them! Once a prank is pulled, they do nothing to get him or his friends back!" Narcissa gave a disapproving shake of her head. The Slytherins did slack off. She was going to have to try and do something about it. "Oh, you're going to dinner with Rodolphus? That should be lovely. You two are a great match, but then again that's just my opinion." She gave her sister a smile. Maybe Bella would marry soon. She was supposed to be marrying Lucius a little after Hogwarts, so of course she was excited about that, but she would be even more excited for he sister.
"I have to have more owl treats. I ran out. And Pangra won't take anymore letters unless she has more treats. She tried to bite me earlier! I also need time to get out of that dreadful place."

Bellatrix scowled at the mention on James Potter. She never approved of that boy, and what was worse, her cousin Sirius hung around him as though he were a god. The two were positively inseparable. And Potter, nasty little Potter, took the opportunity to brain wash her cousin into thinking half bloods were as good as purebloods. It was ridiculous to say the least. "You should really do something about him, Cissa. Potter, I mean. You are a Black after all, and the most deserving of the name Slytherin. They let just about anyone in our honorable house nowadays. Show those nobodies what it means to be a true Slytherin." As Bellatrix spoke she seemed to grow taller. She always seemed most proud when speaking about how much she and her family were than everyone else. It was a passion of hers.
They neared the pet shop and Bella swerved their aimless path toward it. They reached the door and Bella opened it for herself, and stepped inside. She didn't bother to hold it open for her sister, such an act had never occurred to her. "Well then, gather up what you need and meet me at the counter." Bella had noticed the clerk, and found him interesting, and decided to chat him up on their temporary break from their sisterly chat.

A grin spread across Cissa's face. "Yes. Something needs to be done about that boy. Maybe a good hex would do him good. As well as Sirius and that other kid, whatever his name is. I promise you, they try a prank with me, and they will regret it." Narcissa's grin fell into almost a scowl. She couldn't have anyone trying to pull a prank on her. As Bella said, the Slytherin house was not what it used to be. If her and Lucius were there, things would be different, however she was the last one to be there. Of course, the thought of training Severus came across her mind. He would have to follow in their footsteps, be a true Slytherin. He would be their only hope of continuing what the house was known for.
Narcissa nodded to her sister and stepped off to one of the side aisles, looking for her owl treats. Picking up the treats, she appeared at the counter and shook her head as Bella was speaking with the clerk. She hid her laughter and handed the clerk the correct amount, then turned to Bella. "Well dear sister, shall we?"

Bellatrix had barely had a chance to talk with the clerk before Narcissa returned. Since she wasn't into any sort of conversation with the boy, who now seemed dense since she had asked his name and it took him a long while to answer, she was happy to leave with her sister. Bella nodded to Narcissa and headed out of the shop. "Lead the way."
As they headed out to the street the girls resumed their conversation. "You know Cissa, I think it's up to you, as a Black, to train the newer Slytherins. Take the first years under your wing. And perhaps the second years. Some of them seemed so set in their ways even before I left last year, but I think there are enough there that would follow you." Narcissa had everything she needed to become a great leader at the school, which would in turn make her an excellent Death Eater when she graduated. And if she could prove now, while she was a minor, that she was capable of gaining loyalists, there would be no way she wouldn't be welcomed with open arms into the Dark Lord's ranks. Bellatrix thought so highly of the goals of her Lord, she knew Narcissa would as well. After all, they were Blacks, raised to believe as much.

"I was thinking the same thing dear," said Narcissa. "I know that I could possibly take in little Severus, however, I know that he's probably going to be a little difficult, seeing as he still favors that horrid Ravenclaw girl. Argh. I don't really don't understand what he sees in her. Why couldn't he have just found a nice little Slytherin girl. That would have been much better. Although, I'm sure that I could find some way to bargain with him." She let a grin appear. "Now, the other second and first years aren't going to be that hard. I had one come up to me the other day and ask if I would ever go to the dance with him if we had another. If they're all going to be like that. Well, it's nothing to get them to see things our way."

Bellatrix continued to follow Narcissa around Hogsmeade, although she didn't know where they were going. But the conversation was good and she had missed her sister since term started again. She listened diligently to her sister's plans. Bellatrix was so proud of her sister. It was a great responsibility to undertake an Narcissa had never really shown much interest in such things. Obviously Narcissa's beliefs were the same as Bella's.
"I remember little Severus. He seemed alright. A good head on his shoulders." She hadn't had many conversations with him but in the few she had she enjoyed him greatly. "Don't worry about his little girlfriend. It's just an infatuation. It will pass."

Narcissa believed Bellatrix. "I'll see if I can't find some ways to persuade him. I mean, it shouldn't be that difficult. Maybe I could through a little bit of James Potter into the mix, or maybe our dear cousin. I'm sure if I used a way of getting to him, through them, meaning he be mean to them, rather them just being mean to him, I'm sure he would be willing." A smirk appeared. "As well as the other Slytherins. I'm sure they're tired of Potter and his crew's pranks on them. It's time they get nasty, and why not start with them?"

As they passed Zonko's Bellatrix got a mischievous idea. It wasn't anything brutal, or especially cruel, but something simple enough for Narcissa to have a little fun while at school with those irritable boys. "Come with me," Bella grinned, as she pulled her sister into the joke shop. She shooed away the store clerk and scanned the shelves herself, finally finding a small wooden crate labeled Ever-bashing Boomerangs. She plucked out a red boomerang and took it up to the front desk. As the clerk rang it up Bella turned to her sister. "Send this to Sirius with a tag reading 'from Andromeda.' He'll never think anything of it if was from her. Then just sit back and watch those idiots being pummeled by this thing." She paid the clerk and handed the paper wrapped boomerang to Narcissa. "Get Severus out there to watch as well. I'm sure he'll get a kick out of it."

Narcissa followed her sister into Zonko's, a place that she didn't really go into a lot. She eyed the box her sister was in obvious search for. Ever-bashing Boomerangs. A smirk started to resurface from her face. "Oh, I do love this idea. I'll send it out as soon as I know that Potter and his buddies are outside, causing the owl to go to Sirius while he's around, plus it will be quite the show for the other kids. Maybe then the Slytherins will become inspired to pull stuff like that on them all the time, or even just be nasty towards them. Little Severus will learn and enjoy from this experience. I'll make sure to tell him about it and follow me that day. I think I shall do it tomorrow."

Bellatrix giggled as the two headed out of the joke shop. "Great. I want to hear how it goes." Bella looked up and down the street. "Is there anything else you need before I set off?"

"Oh I promise you will hear how it goes. I shall send you an owl once they finish screaming like little girls," said Narcissa with a laugh. "I don't really think there is anything else I need before you leave. But, thanks for coming out sis. I guess the next time I'll see you would be Christmas break, huh? Or unless of course there is a time when I need something else, but I think I'll be set for awhile."

"Wow, you're a easy shopper. Well then, if you're set, I think I'll head off. You probably need to study." The truth was that Bellatrix was the one who needed to study, but she wasn't about to bring that up again. She had had fun with her sister today and had possibly set Narcissa on the correct path. That was more than enough for the day. Bella gave her sister a hug before they parted. "Now I expect you to be on your best behavior," she said with mock sincerity. Then she turned on her heel and disapparated.
