Wesley walked into the Ancient Runes classroom and smiled. It felt good to be here, among the children. He'd spent far too long in the darkness of the Department of Mysteries. Here, he felt, might be a safer and more pleasant environment.
He walked around the room, making sure everything was set, then walked up to the board and tapped it with his wand. Immediately words appeared on the board:
Professor W. St. Clare
Ancient Runes
Then he sat down and waited for the students to arrive.

(Wow, so sad. No posts since March...)
Leo walked into Ancient Runes class. Since Rori wasn't in this class, he knew he'd be able to concentrate better. Yet he felt strangely empty without her. Was he already that much in love with her that he didn't like being without her?
He sat down in a desk near the front of the room and took out his parchment and a quill.

Rayne came into class, a little quieter than usual. Even her hair was tied back and not quite as distracting as it usually was.
She chose a seat in the back, and slid quietly into it.

Severus walked into class, he had been reading on runes and actually had been fascinated by the dead language. Even muggles knew was runes were, he guessed someone had been lazy in hiding the writing, but either way it was interesting.

Roman was on pointe while she opened the door, landing in fifth position. The room was already somewhat filled, she noticed.
She took the seat in the third row, slamming her books on the desk and taking out a grey ink quill. As people filed in slowly, she traced patterns on the desk.

(I suppose I should actually start teaching this class, eh?)
Wesley took notice of the students who had entered the room. What interested him most was the younger boy who had entered the room. He had seen his daughter Natalie hanging around the boy quite a lot, and he suspected that he was the one she was always talking about, Severus Snape. He seemed a bit young to be in Ancient Runes; although he supposed if the boy wanted to sit in on the class, he wouldn't stop him. Wesley had always found ancient runes fascinating, and he certainly wouldn't want to prevent any students from learning about them, if they were interested.
"Could I have your names and houses as you come in?" he said as a blonde girl entered the room.

For the first time, Severus did not start out a lesson blurting out a response. he raised his hand and waited to be called upon. He wasn't stupid he realized this was Natalie's father and he wanted to make a good impression, even if he wasn't entirely sure why he felt he wanted to impress him. He knew he wasn't a dimwit, but he realized he was skinny, pale and more often or not he wasn't very nice.

Sophia heard that just as she was coming in, but as usual her nose was in a book so she didn't see Severus' hand raised or she would have waited to be called on before she announced, "Stark, Sophia. Fifth year. Ravenclaw." then she walked to the back and took a seat. She enjoyed this class a lot and spoke with the professor often. Reading ancient runes was fascinating to her. She also talked to the teacher about the other languages that she dabbled in including the ancient Greek and Egyptian hieroglyphics she was interested in.

Noah walked in with his usual gait, and glanced breifly at the teacher. He didn't see anyone from Slytherin but Serverus, and Noah sat across the row from him. Noah completely ignored the fact that he had just interupted the lesson or introductory. He didn't care. These people could wait for him. It was five measley seconds of their time. They should have waited longer, and he should have taken his time with an enterance.
Too late, Noah shrugged. That's okay.

Ashelia walked into class and sat down at an empty desk by herself. she got a quill and paper.. she tapped her fingers impatiently on her desk, too excited to sit still. she looked around at the other students, but they were all too buissy to notice her.
she heard the teacher ask for her name and house.
she sat up slightly straighter. "Ashelia Andrezjda, Ravenclaw."
