DADA class 9

[Isabella Rothschild]

Isabella walked into her classroom and set down her cup of tea. Carefully she eased herself down into her chair, holding her back with one hand and gripping the chair with the other. She was so tired today; she had been unable to find a comfortable position all night and had ended up sleeping in a chair so as not to disturb Voltaire. Of course, now her neck and back hurt more than ever because of it. She didn't feel much like teaching today, but she knew her classes couldn't stop simply because she was pregnant. So she sipped her herbal tea and waited for her class to arrive.

[Landon Travis]

Landon arrived at the class room, having just realized that they would be having class that day. Upon entry, he found that he was the first student to arrive. He walked over to one of the desks and sat down, placing his books from previous lessons on the table. "Hello..." He said to Mrs. Rothschild, smiling briefly. He opened up his book for Defense Against the Dark Arts and decided to just sit and wait for the others to come. "So...have you found out if its a boy or a girl yet?" He asked the teacher, curiously.

[Rori Logan]

Rori held her books under her arm as she walked into the class. "Hey Professor," said Rori smiling. "LANDO!" she said laughing and sitting beside him.

[Isabella Rothschild]

Isabella smiled. "Good morning," she said warmly. "No, we decided we didn't want to know ahead of time," she said. "I admit, I'm secretly hoping for a girl... but either one is fine." She looked at Rori as she came in. She hadn't seen Rori since she'd had to give her the news about Anonimus, and she was worried. "Rori, how are you doing?"

[Rori Logan]

"Um, I'm good," said Rori, "What about you?" Rori realized she was still holding her books and just shook her head and put them on the desk.

[Isabella Rothschild]

"I'm glad to hear that," Isabella said, but she was still a bit worried. "I'm fine. Except for the whole being pregnant thing, that is." She yawned. "I didn't sleep well last night. It's hard to get comfortable."

[Rori Logan]

"I'm sorry Isabella," said Rori. "I actually slept okay last night, although I fell asleep on the couch, and I still don't know who covered me up and closed my book and put it on the table," she said shrugging.

[Isabella Rothschild]

"Well, I'm glad to hear you're sleeping OK," Isabella said. "Is Severus still making that potion for you?"

[Rori Logan]

Rori nodded. "Yes ma'am, he is," she said flipping through a book. "What are we supposed to be doing today?"

[Isabella Rothschild]

"I'm glad to hear that," Isabella said, although she was somewhat distressed to hear that Rori still needed the potion. "We're just going to continue our review. We're going to work again on curses and counter curses, in preparation for the test I'm giving next week."

[Rori Logan]

"A test next week? Oh that sounds fun," said Rori with a grin.

[Isabella Rothschild]

"Yeah, I know," Isabella said. "I haven't given you a test all year, and I thought it was about time. But I'm thinking the week after that, we'll practice the Patronus Charm."

[Rori Logan]

"We haven't had really many tests all year anyway, not that I'm complaining or anything," said Rori.

[Isabella Rothschild]

"Well, it's also easier for me to teach when I don't have to get up," Isabella said with a slight grin. "Anyway, it shouldn't be too hard."

[Severus Snape]

Severus walked into class and avoided looking at professor Rothschild, he hadn't seen a pregnant woman before, at least not one so far along, up close. Naturally he felt curious, but he didn't want to get involved too much. he waved at Rori and took a seat while he waited for her to join him, at least he hoped she would.

[Rori Logan]

"Hey Sev," said Rori grinning. "Why don't you come up here and sit? I saved you a seat." Rori looked at him with big pleading eyes. "Come on. You always sit at the back of the room. Just move up to the middle. Please?"

[Andrea Holmes]

Andrea stomped into class and looked around. She wasn't quite sure who she was looking for, since she didn't have any friends. Pouting to herself, she sat down near the back. Stupid class, she thought to herself.

Jason came in a minute later, wondering to himself why it was that he always seemed to come in after that little brat Andrea. He noticed that Justine wasn't there yet, so he sat in the back.

[jenny]

Jenny walked into the class. "sorry if I'm late professor!" jenny said hastily and sat down on an empty seat waiting silently for the teachers instruction.

[Justine Torrance]

Justine walked into the room and sat down next to Jason. "Hey," she greeted him with a smile. She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. "So what's up?"

[Severus Snape]

Severus got up and Joined Rori, "The things i do for you." he said in mock seriousness. He grinned and said then grinned. "hey so what do you think today will be?" he said sitting down in the chair next to Rori.
