Severus Saw the spell fly towards Anna, she seemed to freeze. that was so unlike Anna! So Severus felt compled to act . he stood up and shouted "defendo!" and a Green Blast came out of his wand and wrapped anna in a green ball. The "Rictusempra" curse bounced off and hit a book on the opposit side of the room and it jumped in the air and slammed into the floor.
Severus felt like a walking lightbulb...everyone's eyes were on him. "maybe that one was to strong?" he said feeling very embarssed that he over reacted.

Severus put his wand down and sat down quickly. "thank you Rori" he said flushing. Now he felt weird. He hated being the center of attention, now he seemed to have everyone's eyes on him.

Isabella smiled, impressed. "Well, it wasn't the spell you were supposed to use, Mr. Snape, but it was extremely effective, nonetheless. I'll give you twenty points for Slytherin--ten for originality and quick thinking, and ten for helping a fellow classmate who'd frozen. That was very noble of you."

Catherine narrowed her gaze at Severus, That was a very old spell. Moreover it was embrassing not nobel! she'd have to make him see right.

Severus felt very proud. Nobel! now that's a new one! He sat down and scribbled a note to Rori, he never "hung out" after class with her and thought today was a good day to!
"hey Rori! wanna go to lake at lunch today?" and passed it as soon as the professor's attention wasn't on him directly. hiding in plain view type of thing!.

Peter sat staring at the lank boy. That was some spell! He looked over at James and Sirius to see what they thought of the boy and his spell.

James was snoring in the back of the room and only slightly opened his eyes when he heard Snape yell out a spell. He saw the green light surround Anna and rolled his eyes. "Show off," he mumbled. "He didn't even use the spell we were learning."

"yeah, he's just trying to brown nose professor Rothschild!" Peter squeeked nastily, but still really impressed at the spell...If only He could do spells that strong and without a backfire!
