After Cassidy left Tyler's house, she headed over to Crystal Jacobs' house to see if she'd had a chance to talk to the third death eater yet. SHe was really hoping for some good news, that the death eater would be willing to come forward and speak on Tyler's behalf. Nervously, she knocked on the door and waited for Crystal to answer.

Crystal finished putting away a few clean clothes and heard a knock on the door. She closed the dresser drawers, and headed towards the front door. Crystal opened it and saw Cassidy standing on the other side. "Hello Cassidy. Come on in," she said stepping out of the doorway to allow her to enter.

Cassidy walked into the house. "Um, hi, Crystal. I hope you don't mind me stopping by again... I realize you're busy with things, and I don't want to bug you or anything, but I was wondering if you'd had a chance to talk to that friend of yours... about Tyler."

"Oh, Nathan," said Crystal. She closed the door behind Cassidy. "I went looking for him, but I never found him, although I did find a note he left for me saying that he did leave, and didn't really know when he was going to be back. He didn't say where he was going."

Cassidy frowned. "So... he just... left? Did he say why?" She began to feel her hopes begin to fall. "This... Nathan... do you know of any place where he could have gone?"

Crystal shook her head. "You never know about Nathan," said Crystal. "He just ups and leaves when he wants. He never tells anyone where he's going. I have no idea where he went to."

Cassidy felt her hopes begin to falter. "Really? Why... why would he just leave like that? He does this often, you said?" She sighed heavily. "I really was hoping he'd be able to help out Tyler's case..."

"Well, the last time he left, I didn't see him for four years," said Crystal. "That's a long story," she added. "But I'm sorry Cassidy. I really am. Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Well... I don't suppose you'd be willing to talk to Tyler yourself?" Cassidy suggested. "You know, just talk about what happened and the attack, and see if you might be willing to speak at his trial?"

Crystal thought for a moment. "Yeah, I'll talk to Tyler if you want, and I'll speak at his trial for you," said Crystal. "I'll be more than happy too," she added with a smile.

Cassidy smiled. "That's great! Really... I do appreciate it. He needs as many people as he can get on his side. I'll let him know that you'd be willing to meet with him. Is there a time that's better for you?"

"OK, cool," Cassiday said. "Well, Tyler's day is pretty much wide open, since he's pretty much on house arrest until his trial. So I guess whenever I talk to him next, I'll tell him he can come over and chat with you. He doesn't live too far from here." Cassidy smiled and walked to the door. "Thanks again, Crystal. And if you hear from your friend, please ask him again to consider contacting me. I'm really not looking to get the people responsible, and if I get get him to testify that Tyler was under the Imperius Curse, I may be able to work out a deal for him."

Crystal nodded, knowing that Nathan wouldn't be back for awhile. "I'll do that. I don't know when I'll get to talk to him, but I'll see what happens. But whenever you're ready to come over, just come on, I'll be here. Or if it's more comfortable for him, I can go there. Just let me know."
