After Cassidy left the hospital, she did some research and was able to find out where Crystal Jacobs lived. Immediately, she headed over to the house, which was not far from her own, to talk to her about the attack on the Order. As she reached the front door, she felt her courage begin to fade. Timidly, she took a deep breath and knocked hesitantly on the door.

Crystal just had Colby pick up his mess in the living room as she heard a knock on the door. She walked over and opened it. The girl on the other side was someone who she hadn't ever seen before. "Um, can I help you," she asked.

"Um.... hi," Cassidy began nervously. "Um, my name is Cassidy LaRose. I'm an Auror, and I'm here..." She swallowed and took a deep breath. "I'm investigating the case involving the attack on the Order of the Phoenix, and I understand that you were there when it happened and you might know one of the alleged attackers, and I just wanted to ask you some questions about what happened... and the people involved... and I understand if you're busy, and I don't want to trouble you, but would you, um, mind answering a few questions?" She felt like she couldn't breathe as the words tumbled out of her mouth faster than she could say them. Confidence, Cassidy! she yelled at herself. You're doing well so far, don't choke now...

"Oh, uh, that," said Crystal. "Yeah, sure," she said opening the door wider. "Come on in and have a seat. Sorry about the mess. My son is in the process of cleaning his mess up. Can I get you something to drink or anything?"

"Oh, no, I'm fine," Cassidy said politely. She followed Crystal into the house. "And don't worry about the mess, I'm not exactly neat myself." She smiled nervously and took out her notepad and quill. "OK, um, can you tell me what you saw during the attack?"

"Well, that Jackson man got Dumbledore out of the room, and then three others entered the room. One blond man was going to attack Vincent Corrigan, but Emily Alchemia jumped in front of it. Then a blond lady attacked Alchemia again. Another man came up, but he and the blond man turned on the woman," said Crystal.

Cassidy nodded. "OK. That matches what I have learned so far," she said. She wrote it all down, then hesitated. Taking a deep breath, she looked up at Crystal. "Um... Vincent Corrigan seemed to think you might... know one of the attackers. The dark haired man. He, um... said you called him by name. Is... is this true?"

Crystal frowned whenever Cassidy said something about a dark-haired man. "Hold on one second," said Crystal. "Colby, um, go to your room for a few minutes while we talk, okay," she said. Colby nodded and went to his room. "I do know him," Crystal said. "Although, he didn't do anything wrong," she said biting her lower lip.

Cassidy nodded. "Well, yes, he apparently did decide to stop the attack. And that's good. But he was part of it, which means he might know something. See... Tyler Jackson, who was a member of the Order, but was part of the attack, says that he was under the Imperius Curse. And I believe him. So, if that's true, then maybe the others involved with the attack can help prove that. So, since this person you know was also involved... maybe if I talk to him, I can get him to tell me whether Jackson was under the Imperius Curse and who put it on him." She took a deep breath and looked at Crystal hopefully.

"I don't know if I'll see him," said Crystal. "I don't even know where he is," she said. "He just sort of took off afterwards, and I know he's hiding, but I dunno where. He's done it before, and the next time I saw him was four years later. So I can't promise you anything, but I'll see if I can't get in touch with him," she said. "Although, I don't know if he would answer any of your questions, but it's worth a shot."

Cassidy looked at the woman. "You're close with him, aren't you? It's OK... I understand. Just... if you can talk to him, please do. I just want to make sure Tyler doesn't end up being punished for something he was forced to do, you know? And if this friend of yours knows anything... maybe he'll respond better if you talk to him first."

"Yeah, I guess you could say we're close," said Crystal looking in the direction of Colby's room. "Anyway," she said turning her attention to Cassidy. "I'll send an owl to look for him, and then I'll see if he would come by here. I'll see if I can't talk to him for a bit, then you could come over and ask questions."

"OK," Cassidy said. "I'd really appreciate that. Just, um, well, you can send me an owl when you're able to talk to him. I'm at the Ministry, in the Auror office." She smiled shyly. "Thanks for all your help, really."

Crystal gave her a smile. "Alright. I'll send you an owl whenever I get word," she said. "And, it's no problem at all. If you need anything else, just stop by or whatever."
