Tyler shook his head, "No. None of it up until Dumbledore freed me of the curse and told me what had happened. Its like when Dumbledore released me of the curse, I lost a part of my memory or something. I don't know. But everything else is still pretty blurry too. But I'm sure if you found the other people who were involved in the attack, I would recognize them."
((Sorry its taking me so long to reply, I'm doing quite a few other things at the same time...))

Cassidy nodded. "OK. Well, that's kind of what happens with the Imperius Curse. Since your mind is not your own when you're under it, you don't really remember much of what happens. Mind control can do terrible things to a person." She sipped her tea and looked at him seriously. "I wish I could say this was going to be easy. But the truth is, you're in a lot of trouble. Many people have used the Imperius Curse as an excuse for the things that they did. And because it involved an attack on the Order, a lot of people are going to be looking for someone to blame. You don't have a lot of people on your side right now. But, well... you've got me, for what it's worth. And you've got Dumbledore. Hopefully, between the two of us, we can get you out of this." She gave him a hopeful smile.

"Yeah, hopefully. There's gotta be something out there that can prove me innocent." Tyler replied, shrugging. He looked at her with a curious expression and realized something that confused him a little bit. "So then...why do you believe that I'm innocent? Its just like you said, there are so many things against me on this that's it hard to believe that I really was innocent. What made you so sure that I am telling the truth? Not that I'm not telling the truth, of course, but I think you know what I mean."

She shrugged. "Well, partially, it's because Dumbledore believes you. He's always been the best judge of character, and if he trusts you, then so do I." She smiled shyly. "But even if he hadn't said anything, I... I would still believe you. I know you're telling the truth. It's in your eyes. There's a kindness there... and pain. You've been through a lot, and I can see it when I look at you." She blushed and looked away, feeling that she had said too much.

Tyler smiled appreciatively. "Thanks." He said, sincerely. "I'm sorry I had to bring you into this. You've been really nice and I don't want to jeopardize your career or anything. But it looks like your help is the only thing that's going to get me out of this. So unfortunately, I guess there's not a lot whole I can do about that." He looked at her, seriously. "But I hope you understand that I really appreciate what you're doing. Not a lot of people- if anyone, really- would want to do this for me."

Cassidy blushed. "You're welcome. But don't worry about my career. It's been going nowhere, anyway. And if I do this right, it can only do good things for me, too. See, it's my job to make sure the right person is punished for what happened, and that innocent people are safe. And that's what I'm doing."

Tyler smiled and yawned. He looked at his watch and then looked back up at Cassidy. "Well, I don't mean to kick you out or anything, but I've had a pretty rough day and haven't slept for almost 24 hours. And, well...I should probably get some rest." He said, before finishing his cup of tea.

"Oh, of course!" Cassidy said quickly. "You really should get some rest. And I need to get to work on your case." She finished her tea and set the empty cup down on the table before standing up. "Oh, but before I go, I need to give you something." She reached into her robe pocket and pulled out a small device. "This is a kind of summoning device. If you are in any kind of trouble, just push the button and it will summon me here."

Tyler took the device and looked at it curiously, "OK, great." He said, "I'll try not to call on you too many times." He grinned. "But I guess I'll see you tomorrow when you take me to St. Mungo's to see Emily." Not knowing how else to say goodbye, he held his hand out to her to shake awkwardly, "Thanks for everything." He said, smiling.

She took his hand in a light grasp and shook it awkwardly. "You're welcome," she said. "I hope you get some rest. I'll see you tomorrow." She walked to the door and opened it. "Um, goodbye, then," she finished. She felt strangely reluctant to go, but she forced that thought away and smiled.
