Athena had gone home and checked on Alastor and the boys. She was getting a bit worried now, as Alastor seemed to be getting worse. She was worried he might have Dragon pox. If he did, she would have to send Nicky and Colin away to keep them safe from infection. And Coda would probably have to be sent away as well. But first she needed to know where the girl was. Once she made sure that Alastor was sleeping peacefully, Athena headed over to the house where Zander was staying with the rest of the pack, carrying a sweater that she had bought for Coda, which the girl had only worn once. She hoped Zander would be able to find the girl, and that she would be OK. Taking a deep breath, she knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

Skye heard the knock on the door, and, having finished cleaning up her plate, walked into the living room to open the door. As always, she didn't hurry, just walked softly in her slow, graceful way across the carpeted floor. She peered through the peephole and recognized Zander's sister. She opened the door. "Hello," she said politely. "Did you want to see Zander?"

Athena stepped inside. "Yes, please," she replied, nodding at the girl. "Your name is Skye, right? It's nice to see you again. Zander knows what this is about, I spoke to him earlier."

"Yes, I am Skye," she said, nodding. "Hello again, Athena. Zander is here, I will see if I can find him. I'll be right back." She left the room and walked around to the bedrooms until she found Zander sitting at the desk in the room he shared with Pearl. "Zander, I am sorry to disturb you, but your kin is here. She says you will know what this is about."

Zander nodded. "Yes, I know. Thank you, Skye," he said. He stood up and straightened the parchments that were strewn across his desk. Sully and Gretchen would have to wait a bit longer. He turned to Skye. "Could you do me a favor and find Coda for me?" he asked. "Just tell her that Athena is here and we need to see her."

Skye nodded. "Yes, I can do that," she said. She wasn't sure why Coda needed to see Athena, but she decided not to question it. She began to walk around, looking for Coda.

Zander went out into the living room and found his sister waiting by the door. "Athena, hey," he said, walking over and hugging her. "Please, sit down. I have some news for you."

Athena was surprised, but she followed him to the sofa. "What is it, Zander? Is this about Coda?"

Coda was still sitting on the floor of the room she and Zander had sat in. She was still thinking about what to do, she wanted to be with both families but she didn't want either to worry about Goss hurting her. She thought about the night she left with Alastor, the wolves had watched her leave and she knew they thought she was safe with him and with humans. She also thought about what Sauris would say, she knew he would tell her that if she left the humans they would still get hurt, but not by Goss. She took a deep breath as she came to a decision.

Skye found Coda in one of the bedrooms and tapped lightly on the door before stepping inside. "Coda?" she said. "Zander wants to see you in the living room. Athena is here and he wants you to talk to her."

Coda nodded as she stood up. "Ok. I'm ready to talk to her anyway." She said running a hand through her hair.

"OK," Skye said. She turned around and began to lead Coda into the living room. As they reached the entrance to the room, Skye turned to her. "Here you are. If you are sure that you are ready, then just go in."

Zander nodded. "Yeah, this is about Coda. As it turns out, we don't need to look for her. She's right here. Skye and the others ran into her last night and brought her here. She'll be here in a minute."

Athena sighed with relief. "I'm so glad that she's here!" she gasped. "I was so worried about her out there alone..." She turned toward the entranceway.

Athena spotted Coda walking towards her and she got up from her seat. "Coda!" she gasped. "I'm so glad you're OK! I was so worried..."

Coda hung her head. "I-I'm sorry." She felt bad for not going back to Athena's but she had alot to think about.

Zander gave Coda an encouraging smile. "It's OK, Coda," he said. "Athena, Coda wants to talk to you about something. Why don't you both come in here and sit down for a little talk? Coda, I can leave if you want, or I can stay. Whatever make you feel more comfortable."
