Pearl finally tore away from Skye's bedside to have some rest in Chloe's home. It was still a bit messy, but the rooms had been tidied and only Zander and she where there. Pearl sighed and threw her arms about Zander's neck.
"Hold me?" she asked burrowing her face in his neck and sighing at his scent.

Zander smiled. "I'd like nothing better," he replied, wrapping his arms around her. He felt fairly confident that Skye was going to be OK, and that David and Chloe would be able to keep an eye on things there. It felt good, for now, just to be alone with Pearl. A thought occurred to him, and he decided to mention it before he forgot. "I met this odd woman in town yesterday on my way to work. Her name was Rochelle. She said she used to be in Fenrir's pack, but I didn't remember her. Does her name sound familiar?"

"Rochelle?" Pearl was puzzled..."she was part of the pack...years and years ago, but she left and became a beta female to another pack, a woman that had wanted Fenrir's favor." she said wrinkling her nose at the memory of the woman. " I didn't like her." she said kissing his neck. "She was horrible and mean to me." she said nuzzling his chest.

"I thought something smelled odd about her," Zander said. "Still... I'm curious about what she's up to. I think I may let her hang around so I can keep an eye on her." As Pearl nuzzled his neck, his concentration began to slip. He pulled her closer and ran his hands along her shoulders. "Have I told you lately how amazing you are?" he asked in a husky voice.

Pearl giggled "No." she said and blushed "As long as she doesn't get too close, then I can't say I object." she said wrapping her arms about his middle. "Because I'm not likely to share..." she said nipping at his jaw.

Zander chuckled as he pressed tiny kisses along her neck and shoulders. "Oh, don't worry. I have no intention of letting her get that close. I only want to be with you."

Pearl shivered, she felt so warm. "Good, I'm glad we agree." she said delicately licking his neck. It was just an impulse she had, she would of done it if they were wolves or humans, but as a human it felt much different. "ah...was that ok?" she asked a little timidly.

Zander let out a low groan. "It was... more than OK..." he said. He kissed her softly at first, then more deeply. He was torn between wanting to be gentle, and... something else.

Pearl was taken almost by surprise when Zander kissed her, her blood raced in her veins and she wanted him closer, but at the same time further way. It was torment...wonderful torment. She took a few steps back, which he followed and she felt her feet hit the small fold out sofa bed. She knew what it could mean... but at the same time she hadn't a clue!

Zander pulled her closer and picked her up in his arms, still kissing her. Gently he laid her down on the sofa bed, then laid down next to her. "Pearl.... Are you ready for this?" he asked her gently, touching her cheek.

she was speechless. She needed him...she nodded almost numbly and they said "yes...Yes I am." and she kissed him, boldly doing exactly what he did with her mouth. she felt her heart climb high into her chest and she felt fluttery.

Zander closed his eyes and held her tightly while they kissed. "Pearl..." he sighed against her lips. His heart was pounding loudly in his ears. Pulling away just slightly, he pulled his shirt off and tossed it on the floor carelessly. "You can touch me," he said softly, pressing a heated kiss against her collarbone.

Pearls eyes widened, she swallowed as he pressed kisses to her collar and she splayed her hands on his chest. He had a wonderful body. She leaned in at the base of his ear and down his neck to where his should met there. Kisses had never been this way, and it was wonderfully exciting.

Zander sighed at her gentle touch and pushed her hair back from her shoulders so he could kiss her neck. "You're so beautiful," he whispered breathlessly. He leaned across her and began to unbutton her top.

Pearl sighed and curled around Zander. She had never felt so happy or loved, she felt connected in such a way to Zander that she had never had before.

Zander was unable to speak for a long time. He just held her close to him, brushing his hand lback and forth lightly across her back. Opening his eyes, he looked at her contented smile and couldn't help smiling himself. For the first time since he'd been bitten, he was glad he was a werewolf. Pearl made it all worth it.

"Zander, sometimes things in life just happen." Pearl said smiling as she continued to lay across his chest. "Now, it doesn't matter if i never find out anything else about what my human family did and does. I have you and you make my life complete." she said scooting up the bed to lay a kiss on his brow.

Zander smiled and curled his arm around her waist. "We're a family now," he said softly. "I... I never expected any of this to happen. When I kissed you that first night at the club... I thought I had gotten carried away with my lust. But the more time I spent with you, the more I knew... you were the one. The one I was meant to be with. And I never want to be without you. I love you, Pearl." He kissed her softly.

Pearl flushed and smiled. "Admittedly, my experiance with lust was next to none, but I was never afraid. With you, you are my heart, the heart of my pack." she drew nearer and sighed in happiness.
