Michael walked into the Hot Panini with Crystal for a quick lunch before getting back to work. He went over to a table for 2 and sat down in one of the chairs. He smiled at Crystal and waited for a waiter. "So, what exactly happened with Nathan the other day? Someone told me he attacked the Order with three other death eaters. Have you talked to him recently?" He asked, curiously.

"Eh," said Crystal. "He was about to attack a man named Vincent, but I stepped in between and asked him what in the hell did he think he was doing. Then he just turned and attacked the leader of their group, Claudia, I think was her name, and then he just left. I haven't seen him since. Nothing that big. It's not like he hasn't disappeared before," she said.

"Wow. I thought that maybe he would be done with that stuff by now." Michael replied, "Kind of strange that he would turn around and attack the leader of his group?" He thought for a moment about how Crystal had told him about Nathan's problems from before. "Have you told Colby about the whole thing yet?"

Crystal sighed. "Well, I guess he'll never get done with just disappearing and then showing up a couple years later. I'm not sure the reason behind him attacking the leader of the group," she said shrugging. Crystal then shook her head. "No, I haven't told him everything yet. I can't tell Colby everything. He's only four and don't think he'd understand everything. Plus too, I don't want him to hate Nathan. He's his dad, you know?"

"Yeah, I understand what you mean. I'm not sure what he'd think about his dad leaving again. But you've got to tell him something or make up some story or otherwise he might start getting curious, you know?" Michael said.

"Well, Colby knows some things, but not everything. I told him that Nathan had to go on a break from work this time," said Crystal. "I just don't know how much more I can take of his disappearing. I've just about had it."

"Well, I guess if he really cares about you or Colby, maybe he'll come back with an explanation sooner this time. Who knows? But I guess maybe we should talk about something else." Michael shrugged, not wanting to make Crystal mad or frustrated at the moment. "Speaking of Colby, how's he been doing lately?"

"Right. He'll return whenever he feels like it," said Crystal. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Well, Colby's fine. Tiffy, you know the house elf that want to keep on working for me, although I set her free, well, anyway, she's been trying to teach Colby to fly. He's okay for a four year old. The broom I bought for him doesn't really go that high, so it's okay," said Crystal. "The other night he decided to draw on the walls with muggle crayons. Man that was a mess."

Michael chuckled, "I guess the wild and crazy side of him is starting to show. Well, just wait until he turns five. Ah, yes, you'll be having lots of fun. I single-handedly babysat two five year old twins for a good amount of time while my best friend was off on a vacation with his wife. That was not the most enjoyed two months of my life, let me tell you." He laughed, remembering the constant running around the two kids had done on their sugar-spurts.

Crystal laughed. "Well then, I guess you can help me out then," she said with a smile. "I don't ever give him a lot of sugary stuff, because he's hyper enough as it is."

"Of course." Michael grinned, "Maybe you two should come over to my place sometime for dinner or something." He suggested. "That way I can get to know Colby more and stuff. I haven't really properly met him yet."

Crystal nodded. "That sounds like a good idea. I honestly think that Colby is tired of eatting Shepard's Pie every other night," she said with a laugh. "And I think he'd like that. He only has me and Tiffy to talk to now, so it would be good."

"Okay, great." Michael said, nodding. He ordered himself a drink from the waiter and leaned backwards against the back of his chair. "And, of course, if you ever need someone to babysit him- if he gets tired of just being with Tiffy- then I could always watch for him for a little while if you need to. As I said before, I've had plenty of experience. But only if you both feel comfortable with it." He suggested. "I know you have those Order meetings and stuff that you go to every once in a while..."

"I may take you up on that Micheal," said Crystal with a smile. "I worry about him just in our apartment alone with Tiffy sometimes, you know with everything going on. I mean, I've known you long enough, so I'm fine with it, but I'm going to have to let Colby get to know you, because I don't want him to feel strange around you and not knowing you that well."

"Yeah, I get it. That's why I figured it'd be a good thing if maybe if I came over to your place for dinner sometimes or stuff like that. I mean, I'd invite you to my place, but its quite messy and I really can't cook for my life. Unless of course 'Burnt Chicken and Vegetable Casserole' is more to your taste." Michael grinned as he spoke. "So, Crystal..." He said, changing the subject. "Now that Nathan's left again and you're kind of all alone again, have you considered dating again?" He asked curiously, still grinning. "I mean...you've gotta move on from Nathan some time. Why not start looking again?" He wasn't really thinking of anyone in particular, but Crystal wasn't bad looking and he didn't think it would be too hard to find someone who would be willing to go out with her. "Not to be too personal or anything, I'm just curious."

Becky walked up to the table, smoothing out her hair and apron. "Sorry about that. It's a mess back in the kitchen. Someone accidentally gave a hat to one of the house elves and it threw a fit. So, can I take your orders?"

"I don't really cook, because Tiffy won't even let me in the kitchen whenever it's time to start cooking," said Crystal laughing. "Well, I don't know if I'm up for a realtionship. I know it's been about four years since my last realtionship ended, but I've got the order stuff, and the vampire slaying thing, and then I have Colby. I just don't know. I guess it depends on who it is for me to completely decide if I'm ready or not. And of course he'd have to be around Colby, because I'm not going to date anyone he doesn't like. So I guess it just all depends."

Michael nodded understandingly to her response. He then turned to the waitress who had just arrived. "Yeah, I'll have the roast beef and jack cheese sandwich." He said, smiling at the waitress briefly and handing her his menu. "What about you?" He asked Crystal.

"I'll just have the Classic ham and cheese," said Crystal closing her menu and handing it to the waitress. "Thank you." Crystal looked back at Micheal. "So what about you? I haven't heard about you dating recently."

"OK, coming right up," Becky said with a smile. She walked away quickly and let them get on with their conversation.
