V raised an eyebrow again. "Hmmm. Well, I can tell you this, he's as crooked as they come. Totally in Voldemort's back pocket. He set up a program a couple of months ago, supposedly to increase the Ministry's Auror forces. Set aside a whole lot of money to fund it. But while they appear to have increased the Auror forces, they've decreased the actual budget for the department. He's been setting money aside for some other purpose."

Chloe took the guy's order over to him, and said, "enjoy," and walked off. "Hey, if it will help you any, and since I'm not really doing anything, I'll take that lady's order." said Chloe to Becky.

"Sure," said Becky. She looked over and saw that the woman was now sitting at the same table as the first man. "Um... now they're sitting together, do you think it'll be confusing if we're each waiting on one of them?"

"It's possible," V said suspiciously. She leaned back in her chair. "All I know is, the guy does a lot of work for Voldemort. I've heard talk that he's helping build an army for Voldemort. If I were you, I would go have a talk with Greta Weiss, his assistant. But be careful, because she's almost worse than he is."

"OK," Becky said. "The lunch rush should be starting soon, so I'm sure we'll be busy soon enough." She picked up the tray with the BLT and soup and brought it to Alastor's table. "Here you go," she said, smiling. She looked at V. "Are you ready to order?" she asked.

V handed the waitress her menu. "Yeah, I'll have the potato soup and a roast beef and cheese sandwich, please. Pressed is fine." She waited until the waitress wrote down the order and walked away, then she smiled at Alastor. "So, really, why do you want to know all this about Craven, anyway? Are you an Auror?"

"My niece's friends told me that they found out that Craven killed my sister, who was an Auror. My brother-in-law was also killed in the ministry." Alastor explained before taking a bite of his blt.

V took in this information silently as the waitress returned with her coffee and a glass of water. When she had left again, V took a sip of coffee before speaking. "Olivia St. Clare was your sister?" she said in a low voice.

Jenni noticed it was getting busy, she decided to wait on a customer that didn't look too bad, she walked over to a man and wrote his order down.

She leaned in closer. "Because I knew her," she said. "Now, I don't know who killed her, in fact, I've been trying to find out. It wouldn't shock me if it was Craven. Listen, if you're her sister, then you can get into the box."

V looked around the room. "Your sister kept a safe-deposit box at Gringotts. They won't let me in, because I'm not family. But you can get in. She hinted about it just a few days before she died and said she had proof of something there." She kept her voice very low, so it was almost inaudible.

Becky walked up to the table with the woman's order. She noticed that the two of them seemed to be having a very intense conversation, so she quickly arranged the bowl and plate in front of the woman and walked away discreetly.
