Becky walked into the club and looked around. It seemed to be a fairly quiet night, with only a handful of people on the dance floor. After a minute, she spotted Chloe, talking with Karl. She smiled to herself and walked over to them. "Hi, guys," she said. "How is everything?"

"Ok, I'm OK, I guess," Becky said. "Nothing exciting. But you two... you're looking very happy tonight. Anything I should know about?" she added with a grin.

Karl grinned and took a long drink from his butterbeer. "Hey, check out that guy," he said, pointing. "He dances like he's got something in his pants and he's trying to get it out."

Chloe started to laugh. "And that is why I don't dance," said Chloe. "I feel bad for the poor fellow," she said with a small shake of her head. "You know what Becky? I think he'd be a good dance partner for you, don't you think," she said with a grin.

"Uh.. no," Becky said, shaking her head vigorously. "I can dance better than that guy. Besides, he's not even cute!" But she knew Chloe was just getting her back for teasing her about Karl, so she grinned. "But I wouldn't mind dancing with someone. See any possibilities?"

"Sure, that's what you want us to think," said Chloe with a laugh. "I'm just kidding! Um," she said looking around. "No, not him, too fat, eh, he smells," she muttered as she looked around. "HEY! What about that guy," she said pointing to a dark haired man at the bar. "He doesn't smell bad. I think he's okay."

"'Doesn't smell too bad,' now there's a ringing endorsement," Becky said with a laugh. "But... yeah, he's kinda cute... Maybe I'll go over and have a talk with him..."

Chloe grinned. "Well, he doesn't smell dead, for one, and he doesn't smell evilly either. So those two are pluses you have to say," said Chloe. "Let's just hope he's not married," she said. "I couldn't tell you that one. Although, I say go for it anyway. If he is married, we can find you another one."

"Oh, OK," Becky said. "OK, I'll go over there. Wish me luck." She quickly ordered a butterbeer, then walked over to the guy at the other end of the bar. "Hi," she greeted him.

"Good Luck," said Chloe giving Becky a quick thumbs up and a smile. Chloe turned to Karl, and gave him a smile. "I see you're looking entertained," she said with a small laugh.

"Yeah, I guess I am," said Karl. "You were right, people look really funny when they dance. Why is that? Why do people do something that looks so funny?"

"Well, they say it's fun," said Chloe. "Although, I wouldn't dance like that to that type of song. The slower paced songs are better. No one looks funny when dancing to a slow song, except if they mean too, which that's something rare."

Becky smiled at the guy. "So, do you come here often?" she asked.
"No, it's my first time, actually," the guy said. He held out his hand for her to shake. "I'm Jude," he said. "What's your name?"
"Hi, Jude. I'm Becky," she replied, shaking his hand. "It's nice to meet you. So.... would you like to dance?"
"Yeah, I think that'd be fun..." he replied. He grinned at her, then led her out to the dance floor. Becky turned to the others and gave them a "thumbs up" sign.
