Out For a Drink

[Bellatrix Black]

Bellatrix had been feeling a little sheltered lately after meeting the lot that was at the headquarters. She usually wasn't one to feel anything less than superior, but having been introduced to such characters, she felt the need to go out and find herself. She hoped that she would easily be found at the nightclub, and after trying on several outfits and deciding on a slinky black number with strappy heels, she set off for Spellbound.

The music was loud and although there were swirls of multicolored lights roaming the large space, it was still rather dark. She pushed through the crowd and made her way up to the bar where she asked the bartender for a firewhiskey. He couldn't hear her the first time, and so she yelled her order once more, to which he nodded and disappeared below the bar, reappearing a minute later with a large glass of fiery, red drink. She used the napkin the drink had been set on to wipe off the outside of the glass and then took a sip, enjoying the burning sensation as it slid down her throat. She turned, leaning her back against the bar, and watched the hordes of energetic patrons as they danced and drank themselves into a humorous stupor.

Jake walked into the Nightclub and saw that it was more packed than the last time he'd been there. He surveyed the dance floor, seeing many couples dancing. Then he looked around the bar and rest of the building. His eyes fell on Bellatrix, the girl he'd met at the ice cream parlor.

Jake strolled over to her, not going directly towards her, but just enough that she wouldn't see him very well.

"Well, we meet again." Jake said to her, before ordering a bloody mary.

[Bellatrix Black]

Her eyes trailed over the moving bodies on the dance floor, and she thought she caught a familiar face in the crowd. While she searched the floor a voice spoke from her side and she jumped a little before turning to see who it was. She clasped her hand to her breast dramatically and sighed. "Don't you know better than to sneak up on people?" She turned her entire body to face him, her drink still in her hand, nearly full.

"Sorry, it's part of my nature to sneak up on people." Jake said, he leaned in a bit. He knew she was a death eater so he was just going to tell her. "Especially since I'm a death eater." He leaned back and took a sip of his bloody mary. He watched the people over her shoulder, occassionally.

[Bellatrix Black]

She raised an eyebrow at him as he spoke. What is it with everyone just coming out and admitting their evil natures? At least this one had enough sense to use the noise of the crowd around them to drown out his words from any prying ears. She leaned in towards him, slinging one arm over his shoulder and whispering into his ear. "Is it in your nature to buy pretty girls drinks?" She leaned back and took the rest of her drink as if it were a shot. The burning was intense and she enjoyed every moment of it. She smiled as she gently placed the now empty glass onto the bar.

[Alastor Domino]

"Of course." Jake answered her question smiling. He ordered more firewhiskeys for her from the bartender and then asked, "Is it in your nature to accept a dance? Or would you rather hex the couples?"

He drained his bloody mary. The bloody taste made him relaxed and almost in the mood for human blood.

[Bellatrix Black]

She grinned broadly at him, slammed down her second drink, and dragged him out onto the dance floor. She would have loved to stay at the bar, getting pissed, and hexing random passersby, but the prospect of dancing was too much for her to pass up.

[Alastor Domino]

Jake smiled at her. He was quite surprised that she wanted to dance. She seemed like the kinda girl who thought dancing was too goody-goodish. Jake put his hands on her waist, as a slow song came on.

[Bellatrix Black]

Bellatrix blushed as his hand touched her waist, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Why do you look so shocked? Did you not think I knew how to dance?" She let him lead her around the dance floor, glancing at the other dancers from time to time but always returning her gaze to Jake.

[Alastor Domino]

"No, I just didn't think you were the type that liked to dance." Jake said shrugging a little, not much. He kept his gaze on her, wondering what she was thinking.

[Bellatrix Black]

She giggled. "Oh." She welcomed his eyes on her, and liked it. If Rodolphus were to come in right now and see the two of them...she grinned at the thought. She loved attention. "There are plenty of things you don't know about me." And she planned to keep it that way.

[Alastor Domino]

"I won't be finding out those things will I?" Jake asked slyly smiling. He loved a girl who wanted to be mysterious. That was one thing that attracted him to Bellatrix.

[Bellatrix Black]

She allowed him to spin her once and when her hand touched his chest to stop herself from spinning again she smiled. "I doubt it." Her voice was friendly and cool, and her eyes caught the roaming colored lights of the room.

"But what of you Jake? I know nothing of you either. And it's rude to keep a lady guessing," she said with a smirk. Her hand made its way back up his shoulder, gently trailing her fingers along his chest as she went.

[Alastor Domino]

"Very true." Jake said chuckling at her comment. He felt a light shudder go up his back as she trailed her fingers over his chest. "I'm not what I seem, physically."

[Bellatrix Black]

She cocked her head and furrowed her brow. Chewing on her bottom lip, she looked him over. He was average looking man, and Bellatrix could see nothing that would lead her to think he was anything other than average. Her eyes eventually caught his and she asked, "how so?"

[Alastor Domino]

"Don't be alarmed, but.." Jake said showing her his fangs, "I'm a vampire." He stared into her eyes. He hadn't planned on telling her. He wasn't even going to bite her.

[Bellatrix Black]

Instinctively her heart quickened it's pace but she merely smiled at him. Bellatrix usually didn't associate with members of the magical world that she felt were beneath her stature, but she was having fun and decided to put away her morals for one night. She was glad she had worn such a revealing dress, as she loved to tease men with her body and a vampire would surely find pleasure in her elegantly long neck. She giggled at this thought.

[Alastor Domino]

Jake had noticed her body. And her neck, it did look inviting but he had to control himself. "I'm finding it hard to control my lust." He told her smiling. "But I won't unless you want me to."

[Bellatrix Black]

Inwardly Bella was disturbed by his confession, but outwardly she looked thrilled. "I don't have the faintest idea what you are eluding to," she said coyly. She knew exactly what he meant, but with her beauty, youth, and charms she often played the cloistered role to get what she wanted. Although, she found it electrifying when she was able to confront people as well, but that wouldn't be necessary with Jake as she needed nothing from him aside from a few more drinks and a companion for the evening.

"Don't worry about it then." Jake said slyly. He watched her carefully. She was a girl who would get what she wanted quite easily.
