[Kris Lupin]

"It's a hobby really, and no I'm not trying to impress you. Geez, can't a guy make a conversation?" Ed said muttering the last bit.

[Angelique St. Clare]

"But why do you do it?" Angelique asked. "Do you kill the bears? It just doesn't make sense to go seeking out a bear just to fight it. I mean, do you get paid for that? Are the bears threatening people? Look, if you fight bears and continue to stay alive, I guess that proves you're strong and a good fighter, but why waste those abilities on bears? You could be fighting dark creatures or death eaters."

[Kris Lupin]

"Well, I really fight bears to get myself ready for when I meet up with a werewolf. I mean if I can fight a bear and live, or fight a pack of wolves and live then whose to say I can't fight a werewolf and win? And I don't kill all the bears, just the ones that wont leave me alone and let the fight be over with."

[Angelique St. Clare]

"Oh, you want to fight werewolves, then?" Angelique said. "Well, I suppose that's a little more worthwhile. I heard there's been some werewolf troubles around here lately. Still, I think someone might be overcompensating... Or maybe just hit the wall a few too many times."

[Kris Lupin]

Ed rolled his eyes. "That's only the forth time I've ran into a wall, third time I was slammed into a wall by my brother..he said I would be better off dead then out risking my life everyday."

[Angelique St. Clare]

"Well, you just said you did it a lot," Angelique pointed out. "But whatever. Sorry about your brother. Was he trying to protect you, or is he just a jerk? Cause he sounds like a jerk."

[Kris Lupin]

"He's a huge jerk, but that's kinda his way of protecting me." Ed said yawning slightly.

[Angelique St. Clare]

"Hmm," she said. "Well, I think you should stand up for yourself with him. I mean, if you can't defend yourself against your own brother, what hope do you have against a werewolf?"

((OK, I am picturing your brother looking like Nick Carter now...))

[Kris Lupin]

"I never said he beat me up, after he slammed my head I beat the crap outta him." Ed said chuckling.

He raised an eyebrow at her. "A title?" he said. "Impressive. My family's well off, I guess, but they've all but disowned me, so I don't see a drop of it. I make my own luck, I guess you could say. And I've got influential friends." He danced to the rhythm of the song in a bored, almost lazy fashion. "Can't say much for the music they play in here," he commented. "Most of it is crap, don't you think?"

"Sometimes that's the best way. Of course, my way was pretty fantastic too I'll admit." She smiled at him, slightly arragantly. "Yes, I agree. I still don't see why so many people find this place so exciting. Is there not anywhere around a little better?" She paused, dancing slowly with him, surveying the room. "What sort of people come here?" she asked him, curious.

[Angelique St. Clare]

"Oh," Angelique said. "Well, it sounds like you two have a lovely relationship." She took a sip of her drink and looked around boredly. "So, is this all there is to do in this area? I have to say, so far, I'm not impressed."

[Kris Lupin]

"Well, there's the Leakey Cauldron, Three Broomsticks, and the Hogs Head, that's a dark place, everyone there hides their faces and almost everything you say is heard. There's also a eatery close by, I believe." Ed said running his fingers through his hair.

[Angelique St. Clare]

"So, basically, the only things to do are drink, eat, and listen to crappy music? That's too bad. We having gaming halls and theaters in America. We also hang out more with muggles, although we still keep the magic secret from them." She yawned. "Do you at least have good clothing stores here?"

[Kris Lupin]

"Well I believe there are two robe shops in Diagon Alley, I'm not sure though. I go to the muggle stores to bye the clothes I don't make." Ed didn't say they were out of the animals he did kill he would never waste great fur.

[Angelique St. Clare]

"I hate wearing robes," Angelique said. "The only reason I'm wearing one now is because I was looking for a job. But I think they make me look fat. Most witches and wizards in America don't wear them anymore. We can blend in better when we don't. Plus muggle clothes are so much more attractive."

[Kris Lupin]

Ed nodded, "Yeah, when I wear my clothes I made all the girls are like 'ooo! Where'd you buy those?' I tell 'em I made 'em then they ask if I could make them some, most times I tell 'em its a one of a kind." He shook his head grinning at how clothes obsessed girls were.

[Angelique St. Clare]

Angelique finished her drink and put the empty glass down on the table. "Oh, well, that's great. Say, if the bear fighting thing doesn't work out, maybe you could start your own clothing line." She yawned. "Well, I think I'm gonna go now. It's been nice talking with you." She got up to leave.

[Kris Lupin]

"See ya around?" He asked hopfully getting up himself.

[Angelique St. Clare]

"Yeah, probably," Angelique said. "I'll be staying around indefinitely, and I'm sure I'll get bored soon enough. Have a good night," she said. She walked to the door and stepped out into the night.

"Oh, you know. The usual mix, I guess. There are the vampires, as I mentioned. And the occasional werewolf, although they generally keep to themselves. You get your school kids trying to sneak in, and the 17 year olds looking for some fun. And... the death eaters hang out here, too." He gave her a sly grin.
