"What's the Fun in that?" he said Grinning. "Come on, we can stop this time before the shots or in Chucky's case bottles, are upon us!"

"Oh, but... Well... Don't you have to get home to... um... your family?" Maddie asked hesitantly.

"I've been telling him that all night," Charles said. "But I guess he likes living dangerously, because he insists on staying, even though his wife would kill him if she found out he was here!"

"But she looks LOVELY while she's angry! and I'm not doing anything wrong, It's Unlikely that I'll begin to woo you Charles and begin to talk sweet nothings to you!" he said chuckling. "Blonds never were my type." he grinned.

"Well, I'm sorry to hear that," Claudia said, coming up behind him. "Because I would love to see the look on my dear cousin's face when she found out I tempted away her man! But since that obviously isn't going to happen, I guess I'll just have to kill you." She smiled mirthlessly as she pulled out her wand and held it against the back of his neck.

"Ah, You bloodless b!tch, Sneaking up on me while I'm shamelessly flirting with Charles is low, even for a tramp like you!" he said not moving an inch.

"Now, now," Claudia said in her soft, breathy voice. "You say b!tch like it's a bad thing. And besides, you can't call me that when we've only just met! Why, we haven't even been properly introduced. I know who you are, of course, and I suspect you know of me, but we have never spoken. Of course, that doesn't matter now, considering I'm going to kill you..."

"Forgive me if I seem forward, but any woman that has a wand at my neck behind me, must certainly be a b!tch." He said stonily.

"I didn't deny that I was one," Claudia replied. "In fact, I take pride in it. So tell me, do you know who I am?"

"Isa's told me of you. A dear cousin to be sure, with a few assets she failed to mention of course." he said trying to find some sort of leverage so that her wand would slip, the innuendo he felt was clear. "Hmmm, Blonds aren't usually My types." he said casting her a look over his shoulder. It was tricky...but he felt he could do it if she stepped one step closer.

"Well, dearest Izzy and I had a bit of a... falling out... I'm sure whatever she told you about me was hardly complimentary. She could never stand that I was prettier than she was." She smiled coldly and stepped closer. "You're a good-looking man in your way. I suppose I can see what Izzy sees in you..."

Maddie stepped back. She had a feeling that this was why she was supposed to send him away, but she had been too late. She wandered away to see if the fish had anymore advice.

Quickly he snatched her wrist that held her wand and sat her across his lap and twisted her wand out of her grasp and twirled it in his hand, holding it over her head. "And If you think that's good, You should see me in pants." he grinned at her. He didn't want her to feel threatened yet, but as it was, he now had the upper hand. "So, What did you do that earned you the hate and mistrust of my dearest Isabella?" he said layering a tone of sarcasm to his voice. He Really didn't like this woman, he wanted to shove her off of him and run home, But if he could get some kind of information out of her, the better...better than what Charles gave him while pissed.

Claudia smiled her joyless grin. "Oh, nice move. But really, you take such liberties! Why, if you wanted me on your lap, you need only have asked!" She put her hands on his shoulders and slid them down his chest. "Izzy gets a little bitter when people try to kill her, go figure. I was so sick of hearing how wonderful and perfect Izzy was! I have my... charms... as well." She began tracing his beard with her finger. "Wouldn't you like to find out more?" she said, her face just inches from his, so her breath warmed his cheek.

Voltaire felt his stomach lurch. "What a tempting offer, But I'm nearly a dead man...I'm sure there is nothing more interesting than toying with a corpse." he said shooting Charles a look, He was just watching! "Very sorry to say..." he said as he took his arms and placed one behind her knees and the other to the middle of her back," But, have your Lovely ears heard that could make me a little more...lively?" he asked layering thick the feeling of being a sleaze. What was worse he felt like one.

Charles sat there, watching with a disgusted expression. He knew full well what Voltaire was trying to do, but he wasn't sure it would work with Claudia. He knew of her reputation. He didn't think she would succeed in tempting Voltaire, but she wouldn't back down, either. So he decided to act. "Why, you randy git!" he said, leveling his wand at Voltaire. "You have Isabella at home, probably wondering where you are, and you're hitting on her cousin? I ought to call you out, mate!"

Voltaire was a little relived at Charles's outburst. He Picked up Isa's Cousin and plunked her down on there table, her rear spilling the half bottle of scotch on her. "And do what?" He threw Claudia's wand at the bar, oddly it landed on the fish behind the bar top, and taking out his dagger. "I think I have a bit more of an edge on the situation than you do Chuckle." he said his eyes narrowing.

"Oh, yeah?" said Charles loudly. "Well, it happens I was a champion dueler at Durmstrang. I know you were a professional, but I'm not bad! But I don't think we're evenly matched, as I don't have a knife. But with wands, I could certainly challenge you. So let's have at it, eh? Right here, right now!"

Claudia, meanwhile, slid off the table, and began inching toward the bar in search of her wand.

"Fine then! he said placing his dagger back into his coat and taking out his wand from a inner pocket. "I doubt you'll do much! School, after all, was many years ago! don't go living off the past Chuckles" Said Voltaire not sure as to weather or not he believed Charles wanted to fight or not, he got into stance and waited to the tell tale signs of movement, he was going to case a childish Itch hex to get away, it would fade...after about half an hour.
