"Sure," said Maddie. She walked over to the firewhiskey again and gave a wary glance at the fish. Sure enough, it started to talk.
"Give him a hand," it said.
Maddie looked around to make sure no one was watching her, then said in a low voice, "what do you mean, give him a hand? If you're going to tell me to do things, why can't you at least make sense?"
"Give him a hand," it said again.
Maddie groaned and walked away, frustrated. She brought the bottle over to where Jon stood and poured him a glass, then grabbed a bottled water. "Seriously, if there's anything you want to talk about, I've been told I'm a good listener," she said. "Maybe a little too good, but anyway..."

Jon laughed and took a deep breathe. "Okay here's the deal. I sort of like my friend with the brown over there at the table more than a friend. I want to tell her that I do, but yet I don't want to ruin our friendship or anything, plus too, her boyfriend was just killed, and I feel really bad about that, because he was a friend of mine, and I don't really want her to feel like I'm gonna take advantage of her right now, because she's still fragile. I honestly don't know what to do."

"Oh, I see," Maddie said. She looked over toward the fish to see if it had any input about what she should tell him. But of course, the fish was typically mute. Figured. "Um, OK, well, if her boyfriend just died, maybe you should take it slow with her," she said. "Give her a little bit of time to let her grieve. Maybe you could just let her know how you feel, but let her be the one to call the shots and decide when she's ready--if she's even interested, that is." Maddie privately thought that the girl would have to be blind not to be interested in this guy.

Charles was walking towards the bar for a drink when he nearly collided with a pretty brunette. "Oh, hello, love," he greeted her, smiling. "Can I help you with something?"

Lucie smiled at Jon, she sighed and wondered what the future did hold for her, she sipped her drink and pushed her hair behind her ears, she felt happy, she felt glad that she was out, she felt more for Jon, than she had before.

"Thanks." said Jon smiling at the girl. He grabbed the water and glass of firewhiskey and walked back over to Lucie with a little bit more confidence. "I didn't know if you wanted another glass of firewhiskey, or a bottle of water, so I got both." said Jon smiling at her and sitting down. "Um, Lucie, there's something I want to tell you, but I don't want to ruin our friendship."

Morgana smiled sweetly. "Hi," she said. "So, like, I was wondering... do you wanna dance with me?" She batted her eyelashes for effect.

Charles grinned at the girl. "Sure, why not?" he said. "So, what's your name, love? And what's a pretty little thing like you doing here all alone?"

"I'm not alone," she replied. "But my name is Morgana." As he led her out on to the dance floor, she looked up at him prettily. "So, I'm sure a guy like you has a girlfriend, right? I hope we won't be ruining anything with a little dance."

Lucie smiled at Jon, she picked up the bottle of water and took a sip out of it, ''So what do you wanna talk about?'' She asked.

Jon rubbed his head and took a deep breath. "Okay, here's the deal. I mean I understand if you don't really like me or what not, but any way, Lucie, I like you a bit more than a friend." he said and felt relieved afterwards. "Look, I don't mean to scare you or anything, it's just something I should have told you long time ago, and I understand if you don't really like me in the same way." Jon blabbered on.

Lucie looked shocked, she liked him, but she didn't think he liked her in that way... ''Jon... I like you too... I mean, like in the way you like me.'' She said smiling a little.

Evan saw Morgana go with the blond headed guy. Evan felt a little jealously come along. If she even tried to kiss him, he was gonna call them quits. Why he was so on edge, he had no idea. He wished that Ashley would come in to keep him company. Evan just sat back and watched them.
