It was with great difficulty that Wesley made his way to the cemetary with Natalie in tow. His younger daughter hadn't spoken since waking up from her nightmare. She responded when spoken to, but she wouldn't talk. She just stared silently.
A light rain was falling that morning, making everything damp and grey. It matched his mood. Today he would be burying his daughter. His beautiful Sabrina.
He'd had her cremated, because he knew of Voldemort's latest project of collecting bodies for Inferi, and he didn't want that to happen to his daughter. But he was going to bury a small box with her ashes in it instead. Somehow, that made it seem even sadder. That his beautiful, sweet, stubborn, energetic daughter, could be contained in such a small box.
Wesley shook these morbid thoughts from his brain and focused on making his way across the cemetary, to the spot where his Olivia was buried.

Natalie stood quietly at her father's side. She wore a white dress, made of lace. It was her favorite, the one she had always worn when she played princess with Sabrina. It was getting a bit short for her now, this would probably be the last year she would wear it. She stared down at the ground, watching as the tiny drops of rain rolled down the grass. She couldn't stand to look at the hole in the ground, the hole where the little box that was supposed to be Sabrina would soon be buried. And she didn't want to look at the gravestone that had already been carved for her. It wasn't her. None of this was her.
Natalie felt like she was screaming inside. Yet she couldn't bring herself to make a sound. She was afraid that if she let herself scream and cry, or even speak, to try and get her feelings out, that she would lose Sabrina forever. Quietly she slipped her hand into her father's and waited.

Lucie stood far behind them, tears came from her eyes, slowly, but surely, she walked ahead.

Rori slowly made it to the cemetary in the rain. She didn't bother with a raincoat or anything, she didn't see the need in one. Today, she was sad again, because Sabrina was going to be buried. Things were going to seem different without her there. Rori saw Lucie and Natalie, and Sabrina's father already there. She made it up behind Lucie and stood there staring at the hole in the ground, where she knew that Sabrina's remains would soon lay.

Landon walked through the cemetery, looking at all the the tombstones that he passed before he reached Sabrina's soon-to-be burial spot. The whole combination of being at the cemetery in the rain depressed him. He felt like Sabrina deserved a better spot to be buried in, away from this dreary place. But at least she was going to be with her mother.
Landon regretted not getting to know Sabrina better. From the short amount of time that he had spent around her, she seemed like a pretty good friend. He decided that he would try to make a better farewell than he had made his "hello". He stopped and stood next to Rori, glancing at her briefly before staring into the deep hole as well.

Rori glanced up from staring at the hole and looked at Landon. The cemetary all seemed to be too quiet, other than the rain's slight sound. She took a small step to the side and stood a little closer to him and put her arm through his. Rori gave him a faint smile. "Hey Landon," she said in a whisper and looked towards Sabrina's tombstone.

Landon turned to look at her again as she placed her arm through his, smiling back at her lightly. "Hey..." He quietly replied, holding her arm in his. He wanted all of this war and fighting to be over right then. Watching as Sabrina had died was already too much for him. He didn't know how he was going to handle the coming years. But he figured that if they had come, he'd get through them. With Rori and his friends.

Angelique entered the cemetary and walked slowly toward the small crowd of people that were gathering near one of the gravesites. She felt a bit odd, like she shouldn't be here. She'd never even met the girl, but she was her niece. Angelique felt guilty, like she should have known her niece. She should have come to England more often. She should have had a chance to meet Sabrina and Natalie before something like this happened. But she hadn't and now she would never know her own niece. She was a stranger here, and it was her own fault.
She walked over and stood next to Wesley. She reassuringly held his hand, and looked past him to the little girl standing next to him. Natalie. She was a shy, serious child. She reminded Angelique of a description she'd read in a book once--an old person in a young body. She was an old soul, troubled and tortured by things that were beyond her control. Angelique frowned deeply and swore to herself that she would get to know this one the way she had never been able to get to know Sabrina.

Rori quietly thought about a few things. Thinking was something she had been doing lately, since Sabrina's death. "It's just the beginning isn't it," Rori quietly asked Landon, "This war and fighting isn't going to end anytime soon will it?"

Landon shook his head, "I have a bad feeling about it. The way it looks right now, something as big as this won't end until someone wins." He whispered back, frowning. Landon looked over to the woman who had just arrived. She didn't look familiar, but she seemed to be pretty close to Wesley. She must have been related to the family.

Alastor walked into the graveyard and saw Wesley, Natalie, Angelique and some students near Sabrina's gravesite. He walked up to Angelique. "Come on up with me, Natalie and Wesley. You're part of the family too." He said quietly to her while standing beside her.

"I know, but... I feel like I don't belong here," Angelique whispered. "I never even met her. I should have come sooner. I should have gotten to know my own niece. I always thought about it, but there was always some excuse." She looked over at Wesley and sighed. "It isn't fair. No kid should die before getting a chance to live. If I ever find that woman who did this, I will make her pay."

Athena made her way across the cemetary in a wheelchair. She was still very weak from her injuries, but she needed to be here. She had barely known Sabrina, but she had liked the girl very much. And she felt she needed to be here for Alastor. Although he hadn't said much, she knew that Sabrina's death had hurt him very much. She reached the gravesite and stopped her wheelchair next to Alastor. "Hey," she whispered.

Alastor turned his head to see Athena in her wheelchair. "Hey, Athena. Are you feeling well enough to be here?" Alastor said somewhat surprised that she had come. He got down on his knees and gave her a small kiss on the cheek.

Athena nodded. "I'm better, but I still can't walk. My legs just have no strength at all. But... I just felt like I had to be here. How are you holding up?"

"I'm not doing as well as I'd like to be." Alastor said shrugging. "We'll get through this and your injuries." He gave her a reassuring smile. He was doing pretty badly, to tell the truth. The scene kept playing in his mind. He was just trying to be strong for everyone, putting on a mask, you could say, to cover how he really felt.

Athena looked at him worriedly. She felt he was holding back, trying to be strong for her, and for Natalie and Wesley. She wanted to tell him to let it out, to stop holding back, but now didn't really seem like the right time. Later, she told herself, they would have to have some time alone together so they could talk. For now, she just slipped her hand into his and squeezed it. She couldn't say that everything was going to be all right, because she didn't really think it was. So she said the only thing she could think of. "I love you."

Rori glanced around at the people there, then she glanced at the ground, and watched a raindrop drop off a piece of grass onto another. To try and get her mind off the current subject for a few minutes, she glanced at Landon. "I can't wait for camp to start. You know, maybe it will take our minds off a few things," she said still in a whisper.

Remus arrived at the cemetary, dressed in ragged black robes. He felt horrible for showing up so unkempt, but he had no other black dress robes and was forced to make do. He walked over to the gathering of people and spotted Rori and Landon among them. He quietly walked over and stood next to them. "Hey, guys."
