Anna and Namine walked into the ball room grinning.Namine dressed up as Selene from Underworld and Anna as Kairi from Kingdom hearts 2."This is going to be so much fun!"they squealed."Yah you got a date."Namine muttered."Yah so,hes not even here yet."Anna muttered.

James walked into the ballroom. He was dressed like the big ape in the muggle movie he had seen. Spotting Anna standing with Namine, he beat his chest, like the ape in the movie, and walked over to them. "Hey, Anna, Namine, like my costume?" he said.

Both the girls turned around and saw James.They both bursted out laughing."You look wonderful sweety."Anna said grinning and laughing whiel Namine was on the floor laughing her head off in tears.

Ian walked into the ballroom and looked around. Although he was a seventh year, he didn't really know a lot of people. He had always been kind of quiet. But in his costume, with a mask on, he was feeling rather bold. He spotted Lucie, sitting with her sister. He'd always liked Lucie but had been afraid to tell her. Now was his chance, he decided. He walked over to her. "Hi, Lucie, would you be my date for tonight?" he asked.

Lucie turned around, she saw Ian who she'd fancied for a while, she smiled 'Sure' She said 'This is Elle, my sister, but she's a bit mental and doesn't know anything, she lost her memory' She said.

Sabrina walked into the ballroom with Remus. They had gone as characters from the muggle fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood. Sabrina had thought it was funny to think of sweet, innocent Remus as a mean, nasty wolf. "You look really good," she said. "If I didn't know it was you, I'd probably be scared." She scanned the room and saw Lucie and Elle, both wearing pretty white dresses and masks. "Let's go say hi to my cousins."

"OK," Remus said. He was actually sort of enjoying the wolf costume. Even though he usually tried to hide from the wolf, here he felt a little more relaxed. Like he was finally able to joke about it. He followed Sabrina toward Elle and Lucie, all the while, scanning the room for his friends. He finally spotted what had to be James, dressed like a giant ape.

Lucie saw Sabrina coming towards them, she nudged Elle to wake up 'Hiya!' Lucie said smiling
Elle woke up, she opened her eyes wide and flickered her eyelids 'Sabrina!' She said smiling 'Hi' She said
Lucie smiled at Elle 'She's finally getting better' She said to Sabrina

"Hey, you remembered my name!" Sabrina said happily. "That's great! I was really worried." Her face grew serious again. "I don't know if you all heard yet, but I had some bad news. My father was killed at the Ministry this week. Supposedly, he fell through some veil in the Department of Mysteries. Nat and I have to live with Uncle Alastor now."
