Voltaire opened the door to his office and quickly transfigured a bassinet from a paper weight from on his desk. It was a little tricky with a baby in his arms but it wasn't impossible. He set him in and covered him and then chased Ozzy around the office.
Once caught he was placed in his large cage and Voltaire said "You know I can't trust you not to chew something off." he said wagging a finger at the ferret. Leo the duck was restricted to his little dirt and water plastic pool, Voltaire was surprised to see greens in the bottom of the pool...House Elves! spoiling his duck again! Voltaire turned his attention back to his son only to have him to begin to cry.
"Damn...where's that bag?" he asked himself as he looked around, then he remembered he didn't go to his rooms to get the bag. "Damn...Ok I guess I'll be right back." he said to the mewling infant. kissing him on his red little head he left to go retrieve the bag.

Bellatrix had not left on the train with the other students. Instead, she took the time during the commotion downstairs to sneak up to the hospital wing. Peeking through the small crack between the door and the frame, she could spot the Rothschild's talking as Voltaire cradled the infant in his arms. She couldn't hear what they were saying, but moments later Voltaire turned with the child and made for the door that Bellatrix stood behind. Quickly she ducked behind a suit of armor and once the man was in the hallway she followed him. The idiot was alone with the baby, which would make things much easier.
Voltaire strolled to his office and after only a minute or so he reappeared in the hallway, sans baby. She turned to Rodolphus, who she had convinced to come with her, and whispered. "Keep an eye out. This won't be hard with that nutter being the only one watching the kid."

Rodolphus smiled and said "Be quick... 'we' have a carriage to catch remember?" he said as she slipped into the now empty office, save for the child.

She gave him a wink before disappearing behind the door. The office was untidy and not anywhere near up to par with Bellatrix's standards. There were animals in cages, which made the place stink. She scanned the room and her eyes quickly fell upon the bassinet with the little thing squirming around inside. She turned her nose up at it but moved towards it none the less.
An annoying white dove that sat in a cage against the wall was cooing loudly and ruffling its feathers nonstop. The duck waddled around it's pool and the ferret, disgusting thing, just sat there like a stupid beast. As she reached in the bassinet to grab the child, the dove began to fly about his cage, banging into the metal sides and making a lot of noise. Knowing how much the Dark Lord loathed the Rothschilds, Bella decided to have a little fun with his animals before she left with their first born.
She pulled her wand from her pocket and pointed it at the duck, transfiguring it into a rubber duck that floated in it's pool. She laughed childishly at it, knowing it was not evil but still quite funny. The ferret was next in line and as she thought over something extremely horrible to do to it, the dove continued it's thrashing about. Agitated, and on a time limit, Bellatrix pointed her wand at the stupid dove, and ripped its head and wings off.
She jerked the baby out of its bassinet as it started to cry. "Shut up," she whispered uselessly at the boy. It was not use, the crying turned into screaming and she had to rush from the room. Just as she made it to the door she turned back with an elated look on her face. She aimed her wand at the blood red bird and with a flash of light it's mutilated corpse flew into the air and the pieces hung above the empty bassinet as a mobile, dripping blood onto the still warm blankets. Smiling, she left the office and met up with Rodolphus. She apologized quietly about her lengthy stay and tried to muffle the baby's cries with her hand.
She headed to the lake, Rodolphus in tow, still trying to silence the thing in her arms. The child wriggled in her arms as she fingered the dainty silver chain around her neck. It was the necklace the Dark Wizard had given her to transport herself to him once she had the child. She felt the familiar lurch at her belly button and instantly was pulled into a swirl of spinning color as she and the infant disappeared from the castle grounds.

"What an annoying sound sound! they had this thing willingly?!" he said disgusted. "Hurry to the lake, I'll create a diverison..." he took out a small porcelain doll and transfigured it to look like Bella then Animated it, it moved it's mouth wordlessly and looked vapidly in love with him. "See you at the manor Darling." he said kissing the real Bella on the cheek. He left her at the lake taking the doll to wait for his carriage.

Voltaire grabbed the bag from his rooms, He ran quickly down the stairs, jumping to avoid the steps that found it funny to stick to your feet. He was walking down the hallway to his office, then we saw the door was open, he panic rise in his chest. He began to run down the hall and skidded to a halt in his office. Leo was a toy and Ozzy was chattering in his cage, He spun around to the bassinet, Conor was gone! He felt dizzy, blood and feathers were strewn on the floor and he pulled out his pocket watch, there Conor's name was pointed directly to "Mortal Peril" he dropped his watch on the floor, it slid from his numb fingers. He ran out of the office, back to Isa.
