Managing the Zoo.

[Voltaire Rothschild]

Voltaire was once again wondering what to do with his pets. He wrestled with the dove the longest. Ozzy climbed comfortably on his lap and seemed content. He felt a pang of guilt over Subject. he scratched behind Ozzy's ears. He liked Leo the duck, and usually Leo was very well behaved. He'd give Leo to his mother and father, they would probably enjoy having a duck around...espically since Leo turned out to be a girl and was now laying eggs. He was sure his mother could think of more creative ways to deal with the eggs than just draining them and having the empty shells fill his potions cabinet. He was going to be rid of that accursed dove... he just didn't know whom to give it to, because just letting it out would probably kill it. Ozzy was going to be his only pet, It wasn't exactly the kitten he had always wanted, but he was attached to him.

[Rori Logan]

Rori wanted to go by and talk to Voltaire since she hadn't really talked to him in awhile. She noticed the door was cracked open and she slipped on in. Rori noticed Ozzy in his lap. She gave him a grin, "Hey Voltaire!"

Voltaire had been lost in thought on what to do with his other two pets when he looked up and saw Rori. "Hey! I'm sorry I've been such a rotten Dad..." he said trailing off, now he felt like a heel for not really dealing with things more.

[Rori Logan]

"Ah, no worries. I mean you have Isa to look after, and plus to, your a professor, so don't be sorry," said Rori with a smile. "I've been alright, what about you?"

[Voltaire Rothschild]

"Oh, I've been here and there, Isa's father passed away recently and we had to go to her mother's house for the will reading. That was not a fun day...I still have yet to read the letter that man wrote me." he said petting Ozzy in his lap. "Do you want to know your Quiz score?" he asked shuffling a few sheets of parachment on his desk. "You did pretty good!" he smiled.

[Rori Logan]

"Oh," said Rori. "Sounds like you've had a time," she said quietly. Rori smiled a little whenever he said that she did pretty good on her quiz. "Really? Sure, I'd like to know!"

[Voltaire Rothschild]

"You got an 'E' I'd say you did pretty well! there were some kids that really went to town! your friend Severus was a little obsessive with the details! I had no idea Roman wizards priories the 'Botaro' hex." he said showing her his lengthy and cramped writing on the pre spaced parchment.

[Rori Logan]

Rori grinned. "That sounds like Severus!" Rori said with a laugh. "I don't think I could be obsessive with my details because I only write what I think the answer should be, and most of the time, it's not much," she said with a smile. "Although, I say it has to depend on the topic, and how much I know about it."

[Voltaire Rothschild]

"This kid is full of information...given everything he does already...that's a little scary" Said Voltaire petting Ozzy thoughtfully. "Oh on another note Leo is going to my parents' house." he said looking at duck as it quacked getting his attention.

[Rori Logan]

Rori laughed. "Leo going to your parents? They are going to have fun with Leo. He'll keep them busy," she said watching the duck as it quacked.

[Voltaire Rothschild]

"I just can't keep him in my office...It's that damned Dove i have to think of who i can hoist that off on!" Voltaire glared at the bird as it cooed in it's cage. "lousy thing...it's so prissy." he said tossing a piece of chalk at the bird, causing it to flap around its cage.

[Rori Logan]

Rori laughed. "I dunno who would take it," she said with a shrug. "Maybe you should just let it free," she said simply.

[Voltaire Rothschild]

"It'd die in a heart beat...It's winter, and it's a sissy bird..." he said as the dove finally perched again and cooed at him. "Why did i bother hatching you?" he muttered as it continued to coo obnoxiously.

[Rori Logan]

Rori laughed. "Well, I guess I have to say good luck with that one," Rori said with a grin. "I personally think the dove is flirting with you."

[Voltaire Rothschild]

Voltaire glared at the cooing bird and said "I don't care if it's flirting or not, it's annoying...and it's just a sissy animal...Do you want it? I'm sure it could fly short messages across Hogwarts for you..." said Voltaire giving her a sly look, the sooner he could unhook himself from the bird the happier he would be.

[Rori Logan]

"Well, if you hate that bird so much, I guess I could take it," said Rori. "And nice look by the way," she said with a giggle.

[Voltaire Rothschild]

"Thank you!" he said with a grin "I just don't need another pet! Even I like Leo and Ozzy I can't keep them both, as it is I'll have to keep Ozzy caged after the baby is born...I don't think I'd be able to keep an eye on him or his teeth and the baby at the same time...because babies eventually get teeth..." he said putting a hand on his chin and looked thoughtful.

Rori laughed. "Very true. And you know if you need any help with anything, I can help, or at least try," said Rori. "Speaking of help, can I talk to you about something?"
