"It's alright," she said sitting up a little, and smiling at Vincent. "Hey Tyler and Cassidy," said Emily with a smile. "How's everything going?"

"It's....OK, I guess." Tyler replied, shrugging. "What about you?" He asked her, trying to settle into a conversation while he tried to think of what to say in his apology to her and Vincent. He wanted to tell the truth but he also wanted it to be believable. "How's your healing been coming along?"

Cassidy said nothing, she just quietly stood off to the side, feeling a bit out of place. She looked at Vincent uncertainly, then smiled shyly at Emily.

"The healing is coming along just fine," said Emily. "Nothing serious. The doctor just wanted me to stay the night so that he could make sure that everything is fine."

Vincent eyed Tyler suspiciously. "I thought you came to apologize, not to sit around and chat," he said rudely, folding his arms across his chest.

Cassidy widened her eyes as Vincent snapped rudely at Tyler. Without even thinking, she blurted out, "Mr. Corrigan, I know you're upset and all, and you have good reason to be, but really... you don't need to be so rude!" Realizing herself, she clamped her mouth shut and stared at the ground. "Um, I mean, uh... couldn't you just hear him out first? It's not like this is easy..."

Tyler ignored Vincent's rudeness and shook his head. "No, its OK. He's right. I need to get to the point." He said, looking down at the ground as he spoke. "I just wanted to tell you both that I'm sorry for what happened with the Order attack and all. And I'm really sorry that it temporarily disrupted your lives. I shouldn't have ever given in to Claudia when she was first torturing me for information about the Order. I never wanted anyone to get hurt and I didn't realize that they were going to do something on such a large scale with me." He took a deep breath and continued, "I know that I've probably always seemed a bit like an outsider to everyone in the Order and if you didn't ever really fully trust me in the first place- I completely understand. But I mean it when I say that I'm completely on your side now and I won't ever let anything like that happen again." He finished sincerely, looking up at the two of them. "So, again, I'm sorry. And I hope you two can get out of here soon, move on- and whether you ever actually trust me again or not- I hope that you can forgive me."

Emily sighed at Vincent's rudeness, but she listened to Tyler as he spoke. She could tell that he was really sincere about his apology. "Look Tyler, you know that I believe you. It's not your fault Claudia used you. She overpowered you, and you couldn't really do anything about it. I forgive you, because I have been forgiven. I know what it's like to be overpowered and do things that you don't want to normally do. I gained trust, and I can tell you that you have my trust, and my forgiveness," said Emily.

Tyler smiled lightly. "Thanks." He replied. He looked over to Vincent to see his reaction. He didn't really expect him to come out and verbally forgive him, but any kind of sign that he understood what Tyler was trying to say or even that he didn't completely hate him would be just as good.

Vincent folded his arms across his chest and glared at Tyler a minute longer. Then he looked at Emily and softened. He sighed heavily. "Fine. I accept your apology. I'm still not sure I actually believe you... but Emily does, and I trust her judgement." He reached down and took her hand.

Tyler nodded understandingly at Vincent's reply. "Well, I guess we should get going then and leave you two to do whatever. Thanks for letting me come here and hopefully I'll see you soon in the Order." He added, smiling a little bit.

Cassidy smiled shyly at them both. "Yeah, thanks again for giving him the chance to talk to you... I really appreciate it. I hope you can get out of here soon, Emily. And, um, Mr. Corrigan, let me know when you want me to meet with you about the case, OK?" She walked back over to the partition and waited for Tyler.

Vincent nodded. "I'll do that, Miss LaRose," Vincent said. He looked again at Tyler, his jaw clicking slightly, but said nothing.

Tyler gave one last smile before he got up and walked over to where Cassidy was standing. "OK, then. You ready to go now?" He asked her, still smiling slightly. He was happy with how Emily and Vincent- particularly Emily- had taken his apology. It gave him the sense that maybe he did still have some people willing to stand up for him and befriend him.

"I'm ready," Cassidy said smiling lightly. "Thanks again, Miss Alchemia, Mr. Corrigan." She began walking toward the door. "Um, so, do you just want to go home? Or we could go out for coffee, or lunch or something... if you want, that is."

"Yeah, sure, coffee sounds great." Tyler replied, nodding. "The longer I can stay out of my house, the better." He added, smiling. "Whenever you're ready." He placed his hand on her arm lightly, following the side-along apparition routine.

Cassidy was momentarily distracted by his hand on her arm. She took a deep breath. "Um, OK, then, let's go," she said. She forced her mind to concentrate, then apparated out of there.
