Cassidy arrived at Tyler's house the next day, feeling more than a little nervous. She didn't really think anything of it, because, of course, she was usually nervous. However, she had taken an unusally long time to work on her hair and makeup and was wearing a new outfit that she had bought the night before with Evangeline. Now she stood outside his door, trying to work up the courage to knock. Don't be stupid, Cassidy, she told herself. He knows you're coming. He's expecting you. Finally, she took a deep breath and knocked lightly on the door. Realizing he wasn't likely to hear such a quiet sound, she frowned and knocked a little harder.

Tyler heard the second knock on the door and knew that since no one else would be visiting him at his house, it was Cassidy. He quickly put down the book he had been reading out of boredom and walked up to the door and opened it. He smiled when he saw Cassidy. "Hey!" He greeted her simply, happy to finally have someone to talk to. It was strange being all alone for over 24 hours straight. "I was hoping you would come by soon."

Cassidy smiled shyly. "It's good to see you. I've made a bit of progress on your case already. And Emily Alchemia is doing better. I told her we'd be stopping by today, if you're ready."

"Yeah, of course." Tyler nodded. "I haven't been doing anything all day, so it'll be good to get out of the house." He said, smiling at the thought. He was already getting cabin fever. "Whenever you're ready, we can go."

"OK, good," Cassidy said. "Do you want me to tell you about my progress now? Or would you rather talk to Emily first, and then maybe we could go somewhere for coffee afterwards and talk?"

Cassidy blushed slightly as Tyler took hold of her arm. "Um, OK, here we go," she said quietly. She concentrated on St. Mungo's and instantly, she apparated with him.
Seconds later, they stood in front of the dilapidated store opening of St. Mungo's. She smiled at Tyler. "Well, um, we're here."

Cassidy walked up to the window and said to the ugly mannequin, "Visiting Emily Alchemia." The mannequin nodded at them to come in, and Cassidy walked through the window. "Yes," she said. "She's in the non-magical injuries ward, first floor. I'll show you."

Tyler nodded, "OK." He debated about what to say to Emily. He wasn't sure what she thought about the whole ordeal or how understanding she would be when he told her what condition he had been under when it happened. He followed Cassidy through the entrance hall.

Cassidy turned and gave him a smile. "Now, just so you know, I think Emily is going to be pretty forgiving. But... well, Vincent isn't quite so understanding. He's understandably upset about what happened. So, um, if he's there, just be prepared... he might try to give you a hard time." She frowned again as she remembered how he had treated her as if she were his secretary, not a fully trained and licensed Auror.

Tyler grinned at her, curiously. "Right. Thanks." He replied, shortly. "As long as he doesn't get too excited and get physical, I think it should be OK. Like you said, he's understandably upset." He said, "All I want to do is apologize and make sure Emily's OK. If they're not comfortable with me being there afterwards, that's OK too. I just don't want to create any more trouble than what's already been made."

"OK," Cassidy said. "I'm sure it will be fine. I just wanted to warn you, just in case." She led the way to the door of the non-magical injuries ward and headed toward the curtained area where Emily's bed was. She hoped Vincent would be nicer than yesterday...

Tyler nervously walked up to the nurse who was standing near the curtained area and asked if he was allowed to see Emily and Vincent for a few minutes. When she said yes, Tyler pulled the curtains back a little bit and walked into the small area.

Vincent was sitting with Emily and thinking about going to get a cup of coffee and looking for Dr. Collins, to see whethere Emily would be able to leave today, when he heard voices nearby. As he stood up, he saw Tyler Jackson step into the curtained area. He strolled up to him and said harshly, "You've got a lot of nerve showing your face around here!"

Emily looked over at Vincent. "Of course he will," said Emily. "Vincent, just calm down a little, please. He wanted to come and apologize, and that takes a lot of nerve. Just calm down and give him a chance. Come on over Cassidy and Tyler. I'm sorry about Vincent, he's just a little edgy."

Vincent frowned and looked over at Emily. "I... I'm sorry, Em, I just... I thought you were sleeping. I didn't want them to bother you, but... uh, I guess if you're already awake..." He sighed and looked back at Tyler and Cassidy. "Um, I guess... you can go ahead and talk to her now."
