"Of course that's okay. I don't mind," said Emily. "I'm glad you're helping him Cassidy. Not just anyone would have put him on house arrest. They probably would have put him in Azkaban. I have to comend you on your work so far," she said with a smile.

"Really?" Cassidy said, blushing. "Um, thank you. I really appreciate it. Um, I guess I'll see you tomorrow, then." She stood up. "I'm glad you're OK. And I'm glad we got this chance to meet, although I'm sorry it wasn't under better circumstances. I hope we can be friends."

Emily smiled at her. "Of course we can. It was nice meeting you too, and yes, I'll see you tomorrow," said Emily. "Be careful on your way home or wherever your going," she said with a smile.

Cassidy smiled. "Thank you," she said. "Thanks again. Um... goodbye, then," she said awkwardly. She smiled quickly at Vincent, then hurried out of the room. Now she needed to find Crystal Jacobs.

Emily waited for Cassidy to leave the room, and waited a few more seconds before saying anything. "Vincent, why were you rude to her," asked Emily looking at him with an eyebrow slightly raised.

Vincent looked surprised. "I wasn't rude!" he protested. "I just didn't remember her. And I really did think she was my secretary!" He paused for a second, thinking. "If she's not my secretary, then who is?"

Emily rolled her eyes. "You were rude to her," said Emily. "I don't think you even have one," she added. "I can't believe you Vincent. You could have not kept on about her being your secretary."

"But... I didn't mean to be rude," Vincent said, frowning. He didn't really see how he had been rude, but he didn't want to argue with her. He hated when she was mad at him. "Besides, I'm still not quite so sure I believe Jackson's story. I mean, do you know how many guilty people out there have tried to use the old Imperius Curse excuse? She should have interrogated him with Veritaserum."

Emily gave Vincent a look. "Look, I believe Jackson is innocent. I mean, he was a deatheater, just like I was, but then he turned auror for good reason," said Emily. "I even saw the look in his eyes whenever he was under the curse, and they were what you would expect them to look like if he was under the curse," said Emily.

Vincent frowned. "Well, I guess you knew him better than I did..." he said. He didn't want to say anything else, because he still didn't really believe that Jackson was innocent. But he didn't want to fight with Emily about it. "How do you feel? Are you OK? Do you need to rest or anything?"

"I'm fine," said Emily. "And, I don't really need any sleep or anything, seeing as all I can do right now, is just lay here," she said. Emily turned on her side and rested her head on her hand. She took Vincent's hand and started to draw shapes on the back of his hand.

He smiled. "OK, good. I'm glad you're OK. Hopefully, Dr. Collins will stop by and tell us that you can go home soon. I hate seeing you in here. In fact, I hate being in here. I just want to take you home." He leaned down and kissed her forehead.

Emily smiled. "That would be nice if he said that I could go home today. I hate this kind of place," she said. "Although, I suppose tomorrow would be good too," she added. "As long as I don't have to stay here for more than two days, I'm okay. I want to see how Isabella is doing. I haven't talked to her in awhile."

"Yeah, and I need to check on Voltaire. He was really shaken up by the attack on the order. I'm sure Isabella was able to calm him down, but still..." He sighed. "You know, Claudia Morley almost killed Voltaire. If the other two hadn't changed their minds, she would have. We all might have been killed."

"That was horrible," said Emily. "I actually have to thank those other two for deciding to change their minds on her." Emily sighed. "I hope something like that never happens again."

"I know," Vincent sighed. "But I'm afraid it may just be the beginning. We were lucky this time, because two of the attackers weren't really into it. But if they had been..." he shook his head. "We can't expect to get that lucky all the time. We need to get some better security and start training to make sure we're not caught off guard like that again."

"I agree. We need to find a different place to meet," said Emily. "Now the deatheaters know where we meet," she said. "I agree, we need to start training more. We can't afford to have a full attack. Eh, I don't even want to think about what could happen with that."
