Investigating (Alastor)

[Angelique St. Clare]

"No, not much," Angelique admitted. "I spent a few summers visiting here when I was a kid, but that was a really long time ago. But mostly, I've just been in America. California, to be exact. We have the beaches and we have huge, sprawling mansions... but nothing like this. And the kids... they go to school here?"

[Alastor Domino]

"Sounds like a great place to live." Alastor said. He could see the place she had described quite clearly. "Yep, we have a lot of students. They learn all types of magic, excluding Dark Magic."

[Angelique St. Clare]

"Wow, it's pretty amazing," Angelique said. "My school was a bit smaller. It was this big mansion up on a high cliff overlooking the ocean. They had a special protective field around it to prevent kids from getting too close to the edge of the cliff and falling off." She smiled slightly at him. "OK, well, let's go then. Sorry to have stared. I was just a little... overwhelmed."

[Alastor Domino]

"No, it's okay." Alastor said smiling and chuckling. "It has that effect on people." He started walking again.

[Angelique St. Clare]

Angelique didn't say anything for a little while, she just followed behind Alastor as he led her up to the castle. She wondered again why he was taking her to the hospital wing, and why he wouldn't tell her what was going on. She held onto her wand in her robe pocket, just in case he was tricking her, but she didn't think he was. There was something in his eyes that told her he could be trusted.

[Alastor Domino]

Alastor kept an eye on her, just to make sure she was still following him. He stopped at the Entrance Hall's door. "Don't be alarmed when we get to the Hospital Wing about what you'll see. I was just as surprised as you will be." He warned her. Alastor opened the door for her and let her walk in first.

[Angelique St. Clare]

"Um, OK," Angelique said, giving him a strange look. She really wasn't sure what was going on, and she didn't like not feeling in control. But she was willing to go on a little faith. She walked up the steps, looking around the place as she stepped inside.

[Alastor Domino]

"It's on the first floor." Alastor told her, walking over to the staircases. He let her catch up with him before he went further.

[Angelique St. Clare]

Angelique followed him to the stairs. "OK," she said. "How many floors does this place have, anyway? It must be hard for the kids to get to all of their classes on time."

[Alastor Domino]

"Seven floors, plus all of the towers. I haven't had any students late to my class yet." Alastor said chuckling. "Are you nervous about all the floors?"

[Angelique St. Clare]

"No, not at all. Just... you know. Never been in a castle before. It's nice, though. I was expecting it to be kind of dark and damp." Angelique continued to follow him up the stairs.

"We keep it nicely lit and clean." Alastor said again chuckling. He walked up the stairs.
